Pristine Pool Services

I had service for a month with Pristine Pools. I was initially quoted 90 $ for monthly service, with a free filter cleaning which was a plus! After the cleaning, granted the pool had a tint of green, the total came to 160 $ still not complaining at this point. Each week more and more chemicals were used, a filter basket was put in at a charge of 40 $. After a month of service and 160 $ charge and a dirty pool I was then told I needed a filter cleaning for an additional charge and more chemicals! I’m not an expert but I have owned my pool for about 8 years and it does not take 4 weeks to clear up 18kgal pool. I was charged for chlorine that was used with out my prior notification, I told them they could pick up the remaining balance of 40 $ that was owed for the basket, come home to find the basket removed from skimmer. 200 $ later I am happy to have canceled services with pristine pool. They only received 1 star due to the fact that u have to give at least 1 to post a review. I would not trust them in my home if they are willing to take something a paid for, for canceling services imagine what other things they could have taken if I continued with them.

Horrible company. We have been using this company for 2 ½ years now. The first summer was great, then a different guy started cleaning our pool and would rarely even show up… He is supposed to come once a week, same day every week. When I called to see what was going on I was told that they didn’t know he wasn’t showing up. They kept a log and he had been lying about coming to our house. he continued not to show up and I was given excuses every time and told it would be taken care of… finally the guy got fired and our pool was so disgusting the water had to be drained… The owner said he’d drain it for free but we would be responsible for paying for the water to fill It even though it’s their fault. Then my husband and I had to scrub the 2 inches of algae that covered the entire pool because they wouldn’t clean it for us. Finally we filled it back up and the guy put chemicals in and hasn’t been back in 3 weeks. I called for weeks and they never answered the phone or returned my calls. The only reason we hadn’t fired them is because we have to go through our property management and they have to fire him, which they finally did. Now we paid for all that water and the months of services that we did not receive and we still can’t swim in our pool. This guy is nothing but a thief and a liar. I wish I could give zero stars.
