One Star in reality should be Zero this place has the worst service ever! We noticed the bad reviews but thought we would give it a chance the waiter was super rude we asked for Sriracha he rolled his eyes and gave us a bad attitude, aside from the bad service this place is extremely dirty as well as the restrooms i would never come back or recommend this place to anyone i informed the manager of the bad service we got from our waiter and he didnt care kept going about his business not CUSTOMERSERVICEFRIENDLYATALL!!!

This was my first time at Oishii & I found it to be a nice place. I went on a Monday night, around 8pm and the place wasn’t very crowded. Considering this, service should’ve been much quicker than it was. Other than slow service, I had a good time. The food was delicious & the servers were very kind!

Our regular go to spot for sushi — it’s a little out of the way for my boyfriend and me, but totally worth it and we’ve been going for 3 years now. It looks like a lot of reviews are complaining about the wait time or their hours, but we’ve never had a problem. We also know to not go to a popular sushi restaurant on a Friday night with expectations of being served in 10 minutes… which I thought was common sense. The sushi is always fresh — light and with an appropriate amount of sauce. I hate when there’s good fish and half a bottle of spicy mayo on top of it. Kind of ruins it. Their albacore sushi is great(especially when Nicky makes it! Nicky’s the best) and I love the albacore delight roll and the baked lobster roll. My boyfriend loves the Super Oishii roll, but it’s not on AYCE menu — however it is a large roll and it usually does the trick for him. We’ve been to other AYCE places in the Riverside/Moreno Valley area(Matsuri, Asahi, Joe’s Sushi, etc.) and this is still our favorite spot.

To be honest I haven’t been to alot of all you can eat sushi buffets, only three in my life time. This was my second attempt after the first one was awful and I swore I would never try it again, but this place was way much better. There service is slow I do give them that, but I just love there rolls. I always get the bake salmon, crazy roll, and the caterpillar roll. It took me several visits and alot of taste tests to find my top 3. So for now this place is a sure thing for me.

I guess I don’t eat real sushi enough to rate this place on freshness… But I usually go for the chicken rolls and the pot stickers, they’re usually on point and delicious. oh! and my favorite is the vanilla mochi. yum yum though…its pretty pricey here… i dont know many other sushi spots in the valley. so. it will do. YOUVEBEENWARNED: weekend lines are extremely long, and theres certain hours of the day when they close so make sure you look them up before heading out there.

I don’t know why people complain about the service ! We’ve been coming here for over 2 years and it’s the best service they are so laid back and always about 4 people asking if you need anything. Sushi is super fresh compared to others in Moreno Valley or in Riverside! They always have a wait but isn’t that a good thing ?!? They make it worth it ! And yes I get people come in an hour before closing but really why are you trying to get all you can eat at 830 when they close at 9 … This place plays great music has some good beer and sushi is wonderful !!!

The service here isn’t bad. They get super busy and sometimes seating is super tight but the ambiance is pretty chill.

3 Stars ONLY because of the wait time, and because they close from 14:30 — 17:00. The wait time Sucks. Other than that, the food is good. Fresh and fast. Small place, people always waiting outside, on Fridays and weekends. Staff is friendly and welcomes you with a smile.

By far one of the best sushi I’ve had. I come here at least once a week. The wait can get long and for that reason the service is not all that great. Be calm and just enjoy the sushi and beer!

Just got here about 40 minutes before they close. So far pretty crappy service. The server warned me that there’s only 10 minutes left to order AYCE so I will only have one round. I go to order 5 rolls which he strongly advices I didn’t do. He emphasized there is an $ 8 charge per left over roll. I tell him I understand. For $ 24 I’m going to make sure I get what I’m paying for. And let me tell you, I can eat. He talks me out of ordering three of my selected items due to them being deep fried and heavy but he still wasn’t too happy that I ordered 5 rolls anyway. I got my 5 rolls about 20 minutes after I placed my order. By that time they were already starting to clean up, preparing to close. What bothered me was they tried cleaning my table before I even had my food. Midway though my meal the server came back and picked up the empty plates and soy sauce. I was pretty annoyed that I didn’t have any soy sauce left by my last roll. On top of all that, they turned off the lights while I was still finishing up my food to avoid the $ 8 per left over roll he so adamantly reminded me of. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of AYCE in the area that are cheaper and have better customer service.

Worst sushi place in Moreno Valley, worse than Matsuri. Matsuri is just as bad but had way better service. Way to much rice for the size of the fish, everything taste like eel sauce. For the quality it is way over priced. First and last time coming here. Only thing I enjoyed was the free candy from the register!

This place is fantastic. Lets face it, Moreno Valley is not sitting on the ocean so don’t expect for your food to have just jumped out of the water. For an AYCE place in the IE, its a gem. I have been coming here for 7 years with my hubs. My toddler loves it. They bring her warm tofu, udon noodles and already know what I want to order because they are so into their customers. The owner does a great job hiring their employees and keeping the place top notch clean. Food is always fresh and perfectly made. Friday nights are busy so expect a wait, but that tells you something, its that darn good!

Joe the waiter was very polite and gave us a complementary dessert, he made us feel at home and took the order with a smile we love this restaurant and would definitely come back in a couple of weeks. Oishii is probably the most oishii(delicious) sushi in Moreno Valley California. Kim, our waitress, was very knowledgeable about the menu, and recommended things to us based on our personal taste. Service was excellent, the ambiance was incredible, and the food was positively to die for. If I only ate at one restaurant for the rest of my life, this would be it. Portions were definitely plenty and then some, and the value was great. If you’re expecting cheap, two dollar sushi, don’t come here. But if you want a ten dollar plate of fresh eel, expertly grilled and laid atop soft, melt in your mouth rice, wrapped around incredibly fresh avocado that you swear was picked just this morning, this place is for you. The bento lunchbox we each ordered came with a huge selection, and was enough for two of us– both big eaters– to comfortably split, with beautiful, tender chicken, more white rice and incredible teriyaki sauce you swear is handmade. On its side is tempura vegetables, sweet and crunchy with a beautiful accompanying sauce, a side salad with a delicious crunch, and handmade california roll prepared just for you. All in all, come here if you love delicious sushi and the service and atmosphere to go with it.

There are times in life where you’re forced to stop and take a minute to think about how far you’ve come and whether or not you’re going in the right path. You think about how every little event in your life has led to this moment. Right here. Right now. All the heartbreaks, the lies, the joys, the surprises, the accomplishments and failures, EVERYTHING that you have gone through in life has led you here. Was it worth it? You have to take a minute. Stop. Look around. Breathe in. Think. Breathe out. Meditate. Breathe in. Pray. Breathe out. Live. Now, after careful thought. You begin to realize. This is where you are supposed to be. In Moreno Valley. In front of the greatest sushi restaurant in town. 10 minutes before last call. You’re tired. You’re sleepy. You’re a little agitated. But damn you are hungry. Hungry for success. Hungry for honor. Hungry for glory that can only be achieved by eating your mass in sushi. You walk in. You sit down. You order like never before. Then you eat and eat and eat and eat. The waitresses look at you with disgust, but you don’t care. You’ve come to win. You and your group have come for one thing. Sushi. The chefs look at you with contempt. «How dare they!» The look is written over their faces as they smash rice and fish together in a glorious fusion of flavor. But you don’t care, you eat because that is all that you know! Round after round after round, you begin to feel faint. But there’s still more coming. So you gotta keep going. Everything has led you here! A sushi platter with 40 pieces of salmon. Rice so tightly packed it looks like one large grain. You eat one. Your body has reached its limit, but you know have to go on. You have to go on because they doubted you! The chefs! The waitresses! Even the family that sat next to you! No one believed in you! So you and your friends buckle down and get ready for the fight of your life! With fire in our eyes and sushi in our bellies we fought the good fight and I’ll be damned we won! Oh did we win! NOGUTS, NOGLORY Tl;dr We ate a lot of sushi, achieved highest honor. Sushi is great and Kim(one of the waitresses) is awesome! Did you ever find your mussel man?

Oishii Sushi has gone downhill over the years… Sadly, today will most likely be my last visit. Although we didn’t order any«fresh» sushi today due to something that smelled rotten, my party and I ordered some of the baked sushi rolls. We should’ve stopped right there… Unfortunately, the rice kept falling off the rolls. That either means the rice wasn’t cooked long enough, it’s old, and/or it needs rice wine vinegar to keep it glutinous. Or, maybe they just didn’t use Nishiki Rice. Some rice pieces were pretty hard too. We ordered some baked mussels, which lacked presentation; however, it may have been the«best» of what we ordered from the AYCE menu today.(And, it wasn’t the best baked mussels I’ve had either). Actually, I take that back… The Salmon Skin Hand Roll was the best! More disappointingly were the other baked cut rolls we ordered such as the Dynamite Roll(baked scallops), Lobstapeño Roll(baked«lobster» or longastino), Crunchy Roll(Shrimp Tempura), Crunchy Caterpillar Roll(Shrimp Tempura with Avocado), and the Volcano Roll(baked salmon). All of these lacked flavor. It was so disappointing and the presentation was unappealing. Add the terrible rice and you have terrible rolls. To top it off, one of the rolls had a piece of hair in it! So gross!(I won’t get into the table where they initially sat us– it had some nasty crud from the air vent all over the table). We needed something fresh so I ordered a garden salad. Salad dressing was a bit too sweet… I did like the female server we had because she was attentive and switched us over to a cleaner table. Overall, I would like to see Oishii back at the top but the flavors just aren’t there!(Presentation too!) Perhaps, revamp the menu to keep up with the other sushi restaurants.
