Jose’s Mexican Food

I love it. Nice place. Good and fast services. The food was delicious and big portions. Definitely we need to comeback.

Cheap, decent food. Awesome service, great guacamole. Love the chip bar. Cheap margaritas. Never seen this place dirty, the ladies room’s a boot dingy, but that’s my one negative.

Right of the bat, like many Unilocalers in reviews, customer service was excellent. What’s going on in the kitchen was a different story. It was pretty bad, meat was pre-​cooked, and just reheated on flat top, that’s what it tasted like, food got out quick, which is ok, but maybe to quick. Only way to cook carne asada that quick would be pre cook style. I have a high standard for Mexican Food, so this place fell short on flavor and texture of meat. Sides like beans, rice, pico de gallo was pretty fresh and good.

Love Joses! Went when I lived out there at least once a week! Every time I go back to California I have to visit. Excellent chile verde. Huge portions and great prices. The best service too! Always so friendly.

Love coming here to grab a quick bite! They have good service and the food is very delicious. I highly recommend the Mexico city chicken tacos. My only complaint is that I wish there were more Jose’s around.

The Moreno Valley one is the best! Always good food and service. They recognize us and know what we order. The only downside I could point out (if you wanted one and can’t believe a restaurant like this can be perfect) is the bathroom is clean but not pretty. Also no changing table for the little ones. I don’t mind dashing to my car if absolutely necessary. I’ve only needed to once because the service is so prompt.

The food was mediocre, really greasy and not cheap. Extra charge to make a burrito out of carne asada, and the burritos are not cheap as it is.
But my real gripe is the service. The guy taking the orders seemed impatient, but when we apologized for taking our time he claimed it was ok. So the food arrives, we start eating, and the employees come around asking if we wanted anything else from the salsa bar. After we helped ourselves, the employee started to noisily take apart the bar. Ice went flying everywhere, including under our table and onto our feet. He mumbled «Sorry» and kept going. Did not offer to clean it up. This could be a slipping hazard, on top of just seeming like bad/​rude customer service. Really made me not want to come back. There’s a much better taco/​burrito place across the street from the Rite Aid, I think on Heacock and Ironwood, with yummy, real, authentic Mexican food!

My 1^st time coming here was on a Wednesday (kids eat free) People were nice. Guy on the register was patient didn’t rush us.
I had a steak fajita burrito. My boyfriend had a wet burrito. Anyways. Food was brought out veryyyyyy quick. Which I thought was odd. Made me question the quality of their food. I asked for my steak medium. By the time I finish serving my drink the food was ready. doesn’t steak take at least 5 min to cook or so. ??. When I received my burrito it had like 5 pieces of steak of so… Very thin didn’t have much taste. For the buritto to have more rice then steak or even sour cream or anything else what spent wasn’t worth it.
The restaurant is very big. A lot of seating. But it was dirty. It seemed like a slow night of business and there was many tables dirty there was a lot of trash /​food on the floor. So do they need improvements I think my biggest thing would be them cleaning a bit more and keeping the salsa clean and organized. Meal was about $ 26 was it worth it. No. In my personal choice I won’t be coming back here.

Great service here that has never been an issue. Always a friendly hello and welcome when you walk in the building. It seems over the years the the food isn’t as good as it used to me or just new menu options are not as great as expected. A reinvented menu would serve them well.

5 stars for a go up and order yourself restaurant… absolutely! We always call in our order to go and it is always hot and exactly what we asked for (no onion or «wet» style burrito). Today we were shopping at staters and called it in. They said about 15 minutes. Well we got there a little to fast and the man at the register gave us complimentary fountain drinks for our wait. What?! We were the ones who were early! Yes, this is a little chain restaurant but the customer service is always beyond our expectations so they get 5 stars from us! You don’t find good service like this anymore, thank you guys!!!

We had lunch yesterday and I was very disappointed. I got a taco salad with no cheese or sour cream so I asked that I get guacamole on it in place of that. Nope. Big fail there but whatever if your business is so cheap they won’t do that I shouldn’t expect much. The kids meal we paid 6 $ for my kid was like the tiny 5″ flour tortilla folded in half with a tablespoon of cheese melted in it and a handful of cold fries on the side. I can go to taco bell and get a better quesadilla for .79 cents. What a rip off. My husband’s burrito was good minus the plastic confetti he found on it. Never again. Huge waste of 30 $. We can eat at like any other Mexican place in MoVal for half that and have way way better food.

Love the Jose’s Grande combo. The meat in their crispy tacos are so juicy and tender. The Mexican rice is tasty and love the chip and salsa bar!

Love this place! Food is wonderful, reasonably priced and super fast service. Love the all you can eat chip & salsa bar and the many different choices for drinks. We had a team party there and the kids had a blast. Back rooms were large to fit the entire team and televisions kept everybody entertained. Will keep coming back! Thank you!

This is not an authentic place, more like Acapulco style. The customer service was great, not much of a menu to order from and over priced.

Another great lunch with friends and family! The daily special today of 4 TJ tacos was excellent. We also love the chips, salsa, and drinks.

My husband and I are the epitome of regulars at Jose’s. The food is yummy, prices are dirt cheap, and they have a delicious chips and salsa bar!
