I just got individuals braids done by Miriam and I am very happy with the way they turned out. Medium size box braids for $ 100. My sister and aunt get their hair done by her frequently, if I lived in town I would too. We are always so happy with the work she does. Miriam has great prices and is friendly. I’d recommend her to anyone.

I found Miriam on Unilocal and I was really excited to get my hair braided. I drove from LA with wild hair after washing and preparing for my braids. I booked my appointment 7 days in advance and when I arrived to her place someone else opened the door to tell me that she cancelled and asked if she had texted me. I never received a call or a text to cancel or reschedule my appointment and I scheduled my entire day around the appointment. I was slightly disappointed that I didn’t get to experience the great service each of you are describe here. I trusted her work would be good but now I’m concerned about the service. Although it may have been an emergency situation I think communicating with your clients is important.

Miriam is not only incredibly talented but she is such a sweet and patient individual. She thoroughly explained what she was doing, what products she was using, and how to maintain the style. Miriam went above and beyond with my 4 year old niece who I’m sure was not the easiest customer. It was a pleasure meeting her and I definitely recommend her!

Miriam’s work is WONDERFUL. I love her professionalism and her dedication to her craft. Furthermore, the finished product is consistently outstanding. I’ve had Miriam work on me a few different times; I’ve NEVER been to a braider who didn’t leave my head in agony after a day or two. She’s able to find that perfect balance– each braid is secure enough to look and feel like it’s freshly done, and yet it’s far enough off my head that it doesn’t cause ANY soreness. Plus it’s gorgeous?! I am definitely a return customer.
