Labor and delivery only* Pleasantly suprised came to the ER in latent labor found out my baby was in distress had to have an emergency csection. Everyone was SO supportive, and helpful my whole team was amazing!!! They helped me adjust to my new baby and took care to make me as comfortable as possible! I’m truly grateful for the staff, the doctors, and nurses for actually caring about the mothers they are helping. Even though I didn’t have the delivery I hoped for I feel no grievances if I could rate them higher I would nothing but good things from me!

Literally unless you’re top priority, the service is slow very slow. I came for a follow up. It took 57 minutes just to be seen for 6 minutes.

Took care of my husband, who is apparently allergic to fire ants and now needs to carry an epipen for the rest of his life. Came in on an ambulance which was staffed by kind, caring guys, and got a room immediately and were taken care of and monitored until being released about 2.5 hours later, unswollen and back to normal. Thanks nurses and doctors at Carteret General! :)

*this is just a review of the Emergency Room* Well, a friend of mine accidentally hooked himself while we were fishing. So, off to the emergency room we go. Apparently, we came at a good time. It was quiet at night. All he had to do was fill out this short(very short!) form and he was immediately seen by a triage nurse. Less than 10 minutes, he was led away to a treatment room. As he was being treated, other people started coming into the emergency room for various reasons. I’m awful but it’s another great place to go people-watching! My friend was in and out within the hour! I believe this was the shortest trip to the ER ever! Oh yeah, he got his hook back.
