Mediocre. The view is great, but the food is so-so and the atmosphere is pretty blah. All in all, I probably won’t eat here again as there are much more enjoyable restaurants around. We stopped because we were close by and had not eaten here before.

Spent 17 days between YNP and GTNP, this restaurant is by far the best place to eat at any of the parks. You will not be sorry!!! Nachos could feed an army and the chicken sandwich and burgers are awesome.

Incredible food considering the«captive audience» in a National Park setting… We ate here THREETIMES, it’s that good! Everything we tried was fabulous. The service was outstanding(Kevin our waiter in particular). DId I mention the world class view of Jackson Lake? Best bets: The Cattle Driver breakfast, burgers on lunch menu, Spicy Chicken sandwich, and the amazing fresh cut potato and sweet potato fries. Don’t even bother going anywhere else at Grand Teton National Park. Kudos to «Forever Resorts» for the excellent oasis of fine dining in an otherwise mass of crappy National Park food…

Food — 3.5 Service — 3 Value –4 This is barely a 4-star rating, but given that it’s inside Grand Teton National Park that is what vaults it to a 4-star rating. We had breakfast here and the food was a decent value, but it did take a little longer than we would have liked it to –just be prepared to wait a while for your food if the dining room is nearly full. I got Glacier Skillet which had two scrambled eggs, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes and broccoli placed over hashbrowns. My wife got the Steel Cut Oatmeal and a side of fresh strawberries.

The phenomenal lake views and upbeat, prompt service brings this rating to a solid 3.5 stars. The food was slightly above average but nothing to write home about. The Wyoming wings were spicy as promised and very tasty. The soup de jour(veggie soup), taco salad, and the bison burger were all lackluster but we were fans of the cran-pesto turkey sandwich and the Greens & Things salad. If you’re hungry in the park, not a bad place to eat(be warned though, pricey).

Worst experience ever at a restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering, and the waitstaff failed to check on us once. To top it off, we found a service glove in the Signal Mountain of Nachos! I had to walk out after giving the manager a piece of mind.

The Nachos are sky high and can feed four(full size). Excellent fish and chips — my daughter claimed they were the best she’s eaten since London. Trout tacos were fantastic. And the view of the Tetons is great too. Hopefully the outdoor deck is open when you go!

If its atmosphere that you are looking for, this is the place. Magnificent view of the Tetons and Jackson Lake from the dining room. The menu is pricey and food is good. Two of us split a half order of Nachos(which is huge) and each of us had a slice of ‘Wyoming Whiskey Chocolate Pecan Pie’. The Nachos were okay but the pie was excellent.

Mediocre. The pricy bison patty tastes like a low grade beef patty that’s been frozen long. Clearly not fresh like I expected from a place in the middle of the wilderness. Too many bus boys and not enough servers it seemed. I watched 3 people wipe relatively clean tables while waiting for my order to be taken. Very nice servers who are there. Overall I was just looking for a burger that tasted a little closer to being recently shot than what I get in California. Disappointed. But great view.

3.5 stars! We stopped to have lunch at the Trapper Grill, which is located at the Signal Mountain Lodge. The first thing we noticed as we were being led to our table was the amazing view of Jackson Lake from inside the restaurant! This was a nice surprise. We got seated and were given water. We perused the menu, which had a good variety and a lot of options, from burgers to sandwiches, salads, burritos, fish n chips, and dessert! I ordered the Trapper, which is a grilled pan roasted turkey breast sandwich with bacon, avocado spread(which reminded me of guac), jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sprouts. When you order a speciality sammie, it comes with a choice of a side: either melon, coleslaw, potato chips, or fries. I decided to be healthy(since I had fries the night before) to have melon. The sandwich itself was just ok — it was good because I was super hungry, but the turkey was really dry. The avocado and the sprouts were a nice touch. Service was good — the ambiance is nice because it’s got that lodge look. It’s really the amazing view of being beside the lake that makes this place nice. After lunch, we went out to get a better look and also went down to the shore. It was closed for the season, but it looks like the park offers boat rides on the lake in the summer.

We had dinner here one night while visiting the park, and I personally didn’t think it was worth the money. I had the bison burger, and it was so-so. My girlfriend had the nachos, which were huge, but were mostly just a bunch of chips and a decent amount of toppings. We had a dessert which was nothing spectacular. I wasn’t upset with the food, but considering how much it costs, it’s definitely not worth it. The staff was friendly, however.

The views from this place are incredible. That being said, you are kind of out in the middle of nowhere with very few dining options. But, don’t fret, with reasonable prices and large enough portions, Trapper Grill has you taken care of. First off, the coffee is outstanding. And they have organic soy milk. Breakfast wasn’t as good as dinner, and was actually more expensive, which is a rarity. The omelets are pretty huge, but meh. The burgers however, cooked perfectly and at $ 10.50, a bargain. Wife got the ribs, enjoyed them almost as much as the views of the Teton mountain and her incredibly sexy husband. Moral of the story, if you’re around the area, check them out. Open at 7am and close at 10pm, perfect hours for a nice meal before or after some epic hiking.

After a long day of hiking, fishing and tracking down grizzlies my favorite thing to do is to come here and stuff myself with their excellent food. The full quesadilla is monstrously large which is why I typically order it when I haven’t eaten since breakfast. In my humble opinion, it’s the best quesadilla a person can hope to eat. The taco salad is, likewise, the best I’ve had the pleasure of eating. The nachos could feed an entire herd of elk they’re so large and the burrito is definitely worth a try. Simply put, if you’ve got an insatiable hunger for great food come here. They don’t water down their drinks but serve them strong, which is how everyone wants to celebrate after a long day.

What a beautiful view from the restaurant ! There was a long wait for the food. However the lovely waitress got us brownies on the house just for waiting. Five stars for the service. The food is pretty good compared to the few options you get in the park.

In the early spring there are limited options for restaurants in Grand Teton Park. In mid-May, we enjoyed lunch at Deadman’s Bar and breakfast at Trapper Grill. Both had good food and the Trapper Grill has a beautiful view of the lake. I’d give the edge to the breakfast menu for variety, but the lunch options were adequate.

After going on a scenic float trip on the Snake River, our guide told us that the restaurant at the Signal Mountain Lodge had the best food and service in any national park, plus an awesome view of the Tetons, so we had to try it. We weren’t disappointed. It was busy and the service was a little slow, but the food was exceptionally good and the service was decent considering the volume of business they were doing. I had a burger, my son had a pulled pork sandwich, my wife had the hummus sandwich, and my other son had the chicken strips. Their homemade chips and their sweet potato fries are also fantastic. Two Thumbs Up! I would LOVE to go back here.

Awesome place for a hearty breakfast! The bacon is thick, the hashbrowns are crispy, the pancakes are fluffy, the portions are big, and the prices are right! The trout cake benedict was a crowd favorite, as was the blackberry-stuffed French toast. My favorites were the breakfast burrito w/local chorizo and the vegetarian egg skillet w/all kinds of veggies and feta cheese… Yum! Most items run around $ 10 and are served with either hash browns or a biscuit. Eat guilt-free and burn off those calories on the hiking trails!
