Not the best beer but cool place and atmosphere. Gets a bit crowded and bartenders are mediocre.

This is my favorite brewery in Southern California. When most everybody else is trying tosee how many hops they can shove in a bottle, this place has a wide variety. They have good IPAs and Pale Ales, but I am partial to the Big Meat, a German Smoked beer. Very different than anything else you’ll find. I also really like their latest addition, The Lightest One, a Munich style Helles(Lager). They always have a good rotation of food trucks and it is really a great place to hang out.

I’m going to give them 3 stars and even that pains me. My criteria and opinion is often service as you can see from most of my other 500 reviews. I will say that I love the physical location and feel of the place and the beer. Two things they definitely have nailed. Even their soft goods such as shirts I thought was also really good. If I only rated on those things, Energren would be 5 stars. We had the, Valkyrie, Big Meat, Cow Dun and another stout. The Big Meat, in my opinion, is a better sample then a full beer for me as the flavor over powers after a few ounces, but an excellent sampler. As a customer, I don’t prefer to hear about the bartender’s(flat brimmed hat, manscaped, size small shirt, size medium body) weekend plans unless it includes free beer or me in those plans. I had to sit through the detailed version, no hello, no I’ll be right with you, just what the hell Easter was going to look like. I am not quite resolved to the idea that multi-tasking is dead in the food/beverage industry. My opinion is: couldn’t he have paused, welcomed me, asked if I needed anything, continued his story while starting my stout in essence juggling multiple customers, reducing my transaction time and creating a welcoming environment which would increase my likelihood of returning and spending more money and spreading the word of Energren free of any marketing costs. Second time up I was helped by a woman and a man with a beard which actually introduced me to the various beers, thank you. I passed on the third time as the original bartender was seen doing the same to other customers by standing behind the bar, swiping on his phone as customers waited. Its a point of sale, not a bathroom stall. I believe in more rave less rant but this one really got me as you can read.

im not a fan of this place at all. the whole experience definitely turned me off to this place. i did see it packed in there so maybe its good for other people but not for me. i went in there being a first timer and decided to go with friends. i could barely find the place that is in the middle of nowhere and the parking sucks. i parked in the only spot left on the end of the lot thinking i would be okay. so we went in there and the beer tasted so bitter even though the bartender was nice enough to let me have samples. 5 dollars is reasonable for the pricing but i didn’t like any of them. so i left and went outside and some jerk blocked me in and i couldn’t even get out and almost got into an accident. i won’t be coming back ever.

This is a classic nanobrewery set in an industrial setting with a wide selection of brews. Unlike most, there is zero glass between the tasting area & brew area.(But properly marked off — increase some reader works for the TTB). The brewmaster was friendly. I «tasted» my way across their complete selection. A varied selection it was, one tasted of bacon. All good. Like most folks, they have smaller servings for tastings, pints, crawlers and growlers. All reasonable prices(if drank my way thru that many pints to sample all available, they would have carried me out). A food truck was there they night I was there.

This locally owned brewery is just so much fun! I love the beer selection and have been here several times. The people behind the bar are usually the owners or their family. I love supporting local businesses. My only complaint is going here for events, it gets SO loud and the flow of the layout gets really jammed. Hard to move around but always a blast!

Being a founding member of Seven Brothers Brewery(youtube us), I found this brewery delightful and quenching. You can’t go wrong with the ambience and all the varieties of beer they offer. Tip my hat to this brewery.

Great atmosphere and delicious Beer. I only had a little amount of time to spend there, but the service was top notch and the crowd was having a great time. I had Protector IPA, which was great. I took a Crowler of it to go and it was damn hoppy, just like my first sip. I’m going back to Enegren for sure.

I am not a beer drinker, unless I am at Enegren. They have a beer that would fit anyone’s taste and excellent local food pairings. Very relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced. Moorpark’s best hidden secret!

Do you like beer. Cause I do … Duh. Ok this is local to me and my first stop there was today. It won’t be my last. They have a beer called«Valkyrie» Thad the total bomb. I bought a case. And for the wife they took the lighter beer and put it into a 32 oz can. Can you say Rock and Roll to go? Family friendly and damn good beer.

Wide range of German style craft beers. About a dozen on tap. We had the Valkyrie, an «altbier,» and Faliage, a pale ale. The Valkyrie was on the darker side and mildly sweet and the foliage was typical pale ale and slightly bitter. Both solid choices. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who can walk you through the unfamiliar German beer lingo. The place itself is pretty cool with the tanks and production area on display. Lots of open seating and some communal tables. They have quite a few table games to play if you’re there to hang out. We played Jenga and the guys next to us were playing battleship. There is also a grilled cheese truck outside because they don’t sell any food. Quite a few interesting grilled cheese selections and of course you can customize your own with a range of additions from tomato to bacon to chili. I enjoyed my sandwich but I wish they had some more shareable food to snack on like French fries or pretzels.

This is artisanal beer first with a craft bent to it. Varieties change with their consistent award winning ipa’s to reds, darks, nitro, dopplebock, and daring choices involving hot peppers and other ingredients. Their ipa staples are the go to then line up the taster of the other varieties for experiences like no other place around. To be honest, this is a beeroligist pub, for the serious and unique people who enjoy what’s constantly different and new, experimental and bold. Their varieties change season to season, month to month. Get their and experience it NOT expecting it. That’s what makes this so much fun! They do run out of taps so savor it. Food trucks are a big draw along with local musical artists. Check their website for current info. My only criticism is this place wasn’t big enough to handle all the affection from the community. It does get hectic so be patient or take a growler/can home. So worth the trouble though.

Now at their new, larger location, Enegren Is starting to remind of the many large® breweries in San Diego(with great tasting beer to match). I very much enjoy their usual menu of beers, and pleasantly surprised by how often they offer seasonal beers. I love the beer here; I love the customer service here. I, too, have been a loyal customer for some time now. Fantastic job, guys!

Enegren has def progressed into an outstanding brewery. I’ve been a loyal customer since they were a mini micro brew years ago. They truly have had amazing growth and hope nothing but the best for them. Parking: You’ll always be able to find a spot here. They’re tucked away in the corner of a corporate park so you have your choice of spots. Nothing further than a 30 second walk. If that’s far then you should go do something at the gym Service: They’ve grown substantially; however they still give you the small mom and pop feeling. They got the parents behind the bar along with the members of their brew team. They also got the modern IPAD system there so they move the orders out pretty quick. As well they usually have one of the local business’s around the city have their food truck parked outside so if your hungry it’s literally a stumble away! Décor: Awesome setup inside! They got polished wood tables with steel stools throughout the joint. The Enegren logo all over which looks dope if i do say so myself, as well as a band playing the majority of the time!!! Also not sure if this falls under décor but they got games :). Which is kind of a downfall because it reminded me how much i suck at UNO. Beers: Honestly they got a solid selection of micro’s there. From their pilsner all the way down to their IPA. You really cant go wrong with anything your order. If you are a pick beer drinker hesitaate to ask for a sample. Or if you want to get your feet wet you can get a full sample of the beers they are pouring for that day Happy Drinking «Beer before liquor, never been sicker» ” Liquor before beer, you’re in the clear” «It doesn’t matter I have a strong bladder»…***JORDANFLORES*****

Decent beers at a GREAT price. And by great, I mean cheap. If you live near Moorpark, you should go there immediately. It’s a long drive from LA, but worth it. You’ll need to get a growler or a «Crowler»(big-ass 32oz can) to go. We were there on Saturday afternoon and it was 90% full with local beer lovers. The bar is open air within the brewery and you might lucky enough to meet the brewmaster and even luckier(as we were) to get a taste of something straight from his vat. We had flights of 6 tasters: stouts, blondes, etc. Everything was interesting and nothing was bad, some were EXCELLENT(Valkyrie, protector ipa). Also, the spam sliders from the food truck parked almost inside the brewery were perfect beer snacks.

The new location is nice and allows for more people to have a seat and enjoy the tasty brews on tap. Chill vibes and a wide range of people from around the area, even some dogs joining the fold. There’s a rotating group of food trucks(one there at a time) that add to the experience. I always seem to land on the lobster truck which is pretty good but demands a premium for a sandwich. One of my favorite things about Enegren is the family run staff who always take a moment to share in some friendly conversation when not busily pouring for thirsty patrons. I’m big into IPAs and every one I’ve tried from the brewery has been great. Especially digging the latest Shorts Day 2. Day 1 was great as well but Day 2 is fantastic. I’ve had a few other styles via the rotating taps but always stick to the IPA. Highly recommend you pick up a Crowler(a can growler). The thing is awesome and it keeps the beer fresh if you’re not going to drink it within a day or so. Oftentimes a traditional growler goes a bit flat if you wait too long. The Crowler is a welcome vessel in my household and you recycle it just like you’d expect.

Good brewery in Ventura county(and right next to the police station, so be safe folks!). It seems to be family friendly since many families with kids were there when we visited over the weekend. They have a bookshelf filled with various games including Settlers of Catan(for my fellow game nerds out there). There’s bar seating right in front of taps, one long communal table, and individual tables. It’s a dog friendly place(even inside the brewery) as well with a water bowl for the dogs. They had space for 12 different beers on tap(6 light and 6 dark), but by the time that we got there only 11 were available, and 10 beers by the time we left. We got a flight of 1IPA and 5 dark beers. Great beers! We rated them between 3.5 — 4.5 stars each. Being a dark beer(the darker, the boozier, the better) and IPA fan(they had 3 different IPAs on tap), I was very pleased with the selection. There were 2 different growlers you could take home with you, your normal swing-top glass growlers, and(one that I’ve never seen before) giants cans. They also have different food trucks come to the brewery.
