We stopped in for lunch and were happily surprised. The place was busy, but the service was quick and friendly. The food was good with a great selection. We’ll definitely be going back!

15 years ago it was a college hangout more country bar vibe… I got into it one night with a skinhead trucker traveling through town… nice staff cheap drinks still kinda dive like

To start, THISIS A COLLEGEBAR, I went to MSUM and come here every Tuesday night for .50 cent beers and two for one drinks. Since leaving in 2012 I’ve heard it went down hill due to the switch to a DJ instead of karaōke, they also remodeled the place. Chumleys will always have a place in my heart since I had many great nights here. Never ate here so I can’t comment on the food.

Went for a beer and food and wish we would have stayed home. My service was terrible, unprofessional, and rude. My wife was equally upset as she found MULTIPLE hairs in her food and they refused to do anything about it stating«our cooks hair is not that color!» When I went home and started looking this place up they FIRED A VETERANFORHAVINGTOBEGONEFORMILITARYDUTIES!!! We used to love going to Chumley’s for karaōke. But then it turned into another one of those«hybrid», as the DJ’s like to call it, deals. Which means you turn in songs and sit there on your butt buying drinks while the DJ puts in his preferred singers and plays shitty non-karaōke songs for the bachelorette groups. Very sad this is what is has become, and we won’t go back.

Had the grilled ham cheese sandwich which was really delicious it was made with real ham not the cheap processed stuffed which made it all the more delioucs to the pallet. The spicy jalapeño chili was made to perffection loved the bits of hamburger in the chili definitely worth checking out.

This place is a mix between white, college frat boys, and Mexican gang-bangers for real! That is the weirdest MIX I’ve ever seen. Being from Miami, I thought I’ve seen it all. For the 30 minutes I was here, 1 fight broke out, and a Mexican cholo got a drink thrown in his face by the ONLY African-American girl after he brushed against her, which obviously she did not like. There are pool tables, and Karaōke I guess. However, it was definitely fir the immature college crowd with guys desperately trying to chase girls, and girls enjoying the attention turning most away. Can’t say I liked this place. I would have to be a broke college student who has not gotten laid in 6 months, and will subject myself to a filthy atmosphere because I don’t know better. Ironically, the security bouncers were extremely nice to me and my group as we were dress extremely nice. You’ve been warned. Proceed at your own risk and leave your pride at the door should you decide to visit.

Really cheap drink specials, pretty fast service. Big crowd for weeknights! Karaōke was fun, good dance floor. Lots of country music. All the help was really nice, and the vibe was party and a touch oversexed. This place just feels very Fargo(though technically it is in Moorehead MN) it is a bit trashy, a bit generic, a bit over-flashy, and the ladies dress very… scant. Lots of hook ups going on here; people are out to get laid. Horrible, horrible taps, and terrible mixed drinks. Great prices and a fun dance floor give them three stars. I mean, it’s Fargo/Moorehead.
