The gentleman behind the counter has been there for 69 years! What a great place! We saw metal tricycles in the window so we decided to stop in. They also have metal wagons, too! You can buy them already assembled or put it together yourself!
This place has everything you could ever look for and more! This place is a throwback to when hardware stores had people who actually knew what they were talking about that you could ask advice from. They carry high-​quality items and have reasonable prices. The interior is great, featuring artifacts, antiques and new items to complete the project you are working on. Moorsville has a Mayberry charm, and this place fits in well.

I relate to this place. I’m a packrat and I admit it. They are too and hate to get rid of stuff because they know, sooner or later, there will be another packrat like me to buy their stuff. It just takes a matter of time.
When I was growing up in Western NC, I had a flexible flyer snow sled and it was fast. No one could beat me down Whitmire’s hill.
Now over 60 years later, I buy a hard to find flexible flyer for my grandson in Georgia. Where did I get such a hard to find item/​
Another pack rat like me.
I hope Dylan has a much fun with his flexible flyer as I did with mine. He won’t have the fun of going down Whitmire’s hill but I’m sure Marietta Ga has it’s share of fun hills to explore as well and create his own childhood memories.
