Their customer service is terrible, their route service is terrible, do not waste your time or money with Trugreen because all the really after is your green cash !!

I signed up for service through Tru Green earlier this spring and the location at Timber Road is my assigned service group. It is now August and there are quite a few completely bare spots in my lawn. No big deal — I assumed their fall aeration/seeding would take care of that. Problem is, on 8÷12÷14 during my regular service visit I received a call stating my aeration would be taking place the following week. I specifically told the technician that I did NOT want the service done at that time, and they told me to expect a phone call to reschedule for September. I walked outside on Monday and whadda ya know, there are the service techs running their aerating machine. The techs at my home were nice enough, no problem with them. But apparently no one in their office received the message or cared enough to take me off the schedule for that day. I immediately called their«local» number listed on my service receipts and was connected to a national call center… their rep promised me a call back that afternoon from the local office at Timber Road. No such call was made… Following day I come home from work and find that ANOTHER visit has been made to my home for another«regular» application. So this makes 3 visits in 1 week, one of which is being billed at $ 189 for 39 minutes worth of work to run their aerator over my yard. I called the«local» number again, and again was connected to a call center where no one can answer a question; no one has any info, and all they can say is someone will call you back. Well guess what — 48hrs later and still not one phone call. Communication with Tru Green is a joke. Their $ 189 pricing for 39 minutes of aeration with absolutely NO seeding done is also a rip off. A call to any local lawn service and I could have had this done for far less. Never do business with these people.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. I signed up for new service this year after one of their door-to-door salesmen came around pitching their annual contract service. Weeks after receiving my first treatment of the year, I had a ton of weeds popping up. No big deal, so I called them and was told someone would be out that week to spot treat for weeds. They never showed up and never called. I called customer service and was told they had no idea why nobody had showed up, but that they’d try to get someone out right away. I was also told I would receive a call(my request) to explain what happened and why there was no communication. Ironically, ANOTHER salesman showed up the following day to sell me service… even though I was already a customer. Classic. He gave me the song and dance and said someone would be in touch right away. None of that ever happened, and after I called the following day(and the day after that), and STILL received no call, I finally just cancelled my service and went elsewhere. I STILL never got a call, and now have been waiting two weeks for a refund of my prepaid service. If that doesn’t arrive this week, I’m filing a complaint with the BBB. What a joke this place is.
