We were down for a week visit and went here four nights out of the seven. My grandmother is a Mooresville native, knew the original founders, and has sworn by this place all throughout my childhood. My wife fell in love with it, and I, despite not being a huge ice cream person, found something every time we went. Love it!

People will hate me for giving 3 stars here. I know, I know it’s MICC. Been here forever. So their regular ice cream is mediocre. Just ok. This year they raised their prices quite a bit. Not that great of a value anymore. The manager, older fella, who works there is not Mr. Customer Service and the high school kids are nice enough, but look exhausted. The place is jamming when it’s warm out, so be prepared to wait. With that said, it’s super cute inside. And if you find their premium brand Front Porch, it’s excellent! Served in pints.

Great little small town atmosphere ice cream. Great quality ice cream has been made here since the 1930’s and it is still«deluxe». The new owners did a nice upfit to make it a very fun space. Highly recommended and worth the trip alone to downtown. Mooresville.

If you want«homemade» ice cream. you gotta try the parlor in Mooresville. My Daughter loves the Chocolate Rocker, my Wife digs the Fudge Ripple. My favorite is the Peanut Butter Pie or Key lime. Great place to bring visiting guests who aren’t use to a home town parlor.

Now we are talking ice-cream. Best so far I have had in the area. Wish they had later hours and maybe some more locations. But thus far I say its fantastic and the staff is nice.

Nothing like enjoying Ice Cream when you know they basically make it right next door. I think the DeLuxe creamery is attached to this space. They make the DeLuxe brand and also Front Porch ice cream that you can find in grocery stores in the area. I go here as often as I’m able(given that it’s about 30 mins from my house). Super charming inside. Clean and new, but designed to evoke some of that old style soda fountain feel. Neat placemats on each table with original instructions from classic soda fountains on how to make various floats, malted milks, etc. Very cool little touch. They aren’t doing Green Tea Fennel or any other off the wall type flavors, but they have a boatload of interesting flavors, mostly the classics. And it’s right in the heart of downtown Mooresville, which is just a great, classic, and vibrant Southern downtown. Check it out.

Chocolate peanut butter or butter pecan where great. But isn’t homemade ice cream always better?!?

First time customer! I loved it. Lots of choices and everything looked so good I have to come back here. Strawberry was sold out so it must be the most popular. Plan B — Chocolate Mint… smooth, tasty paradise… gotta come back here soon.

Definitely my new favorite ice cream shop! Literally some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s a blast from the past, but they have definitely preserved the authenticity and small town culture of the shop. The shop itself sits on a little corner in downtown Mooresville and has indoor seating as well as benches outside. Right in back is where they produce these delicious flavors of creamy heaven! the people who work there are pretty friendly too. If you ever have a chance to visit this quaint little ice cream shop definitely try the Red Velvet and the Espresso Chip!

Banana Pudding ice cream is great. Reasonably priced for 2 giant scoops on a sugar cone.
