Hotshots Sports Bar & Grille – Mooresville

Generally very good with an extensive menu of bar food.
After the big snow and not being out of the house for two days, were getting a litle antsy so we made a WalMart run and decided to give Hotshots a try for an early dinner. We’ve eaten here several times and it’s been consistently good with great burgers and sandwiches.
They were packed today moreso than I’ve ever seen it before. I quess the kitchen was swamped because the food was not up to their regular parr. I ordered the boneless chicken wings with the hot garlic sauce with blue cheese dressing on the side. The chicken was overcooked to the point where it was dry and hard. Someone cooked them too long or at too high a heat or both.
My wife ordered a Black and Bleu Salad which was hugh and had plently of everything except the steak part of the salad appeared to be from a less cut of meat. She described it as a minute steak which is generally very thing and if not cooked properly, can be very tough which is what this was.
Service was excellent. Atmosphere was a bit of a dive and quite noisy but as I pointed out, everyone was there getting out for the first time in a couple of days.

This place is disgusting. The Club baked potato is what we ordered and it was gross!!! The put the meats on a greasy flat top and put that on the potato covered it with can cheese and the changed for sour cream!!! Never waste your money here. The get a one star because I had to give a star, should be negative 10 stars!!!

We stopped by here with a GroupOn in hand. This is a hard core sports bar. I would say, this is a dive. I do not mean that in a bad way, it is just a bar to go, hang out, drink, watch a game and have fun. The food is on the super low end price wise. In fact, it is probably the cheapest I have seen in the area. Value for your money! The food is great, keeping in perspective that this is a sports bar! I had the Royale burger, it was really good.
Not sure why some other reviews have had issues at Hotshots. It is a male dominated crowd. I guess if you are looking for trouble, you will find it. I had no issues what-​so-​ever. The staff was friendly and helpful, the manager was great. The place was 80% men, 20% women… Most guys were in groups playing pool, darts, or watching the game. In other words, minding their own business. They do have a rather large man doing security, but even he was friendly. He was also helping to bus the tables… It was that busy.
In fact, he grabbed me wife and had her through at a dart board to win prizes. I have never seen that! Very cool, she won two shots. Expensive shots too… Crown. Nice! Bonus! They have a lot of stuff on the menu that I will go back to try as well as a lot of drink specials that I will participate in at some point.

Horrible manager. Got banned along with getting bullied. If you don’t like fights, stay out. 4 guys to one, very unfair. No hits back.

Really you ask me what sauce I want for wings and then u charge me extra for the one I choose.

TVs all over the place with all sorts of sports. Darts, pool tables, and even a poker table — all very much in use.
Female staff mainly in short plaid skirts and white or black tops, with several of them having multiple tattoos.
On this night was a wings special. I ordered boneless wings with a dry rub. I liked the crispness of the coating, and the little bit of heat it had. Wings delivered in a reasonable time, but the fries were slower to get to my table.
Seems to be a good place for the locals to enjoy — maybe not so much for a tourist.

Should really put something on there site about only persons over the age of 21 permitted. Really put a damper on my night guess I’ll find another pool hall in this town

We found this place on Unilocal while we were in Mooresville for business. Thought we would give it a shot based upon the reviews.
Place was average with average food. I guess it would be fun place to watch a sporting event but for business lunch, not so much…

Man this place is good. Must have the Grilled Cheese Bacon Burger w/​tots. On top of that our server, Lisha, was very accommodating for our large group.

Good food, lots of TVs, pool and darts = great sports bar. Only complaint is limited beer list that doesn’t rotate. If they increased the selection and/​or rotated drafts would be 5 stars.

Went on a Sunday afternoon during a Panthers game. I called in 2 lbs of hot & tangy wings lots of mustard south Carolina style w/​lots of mustard and just the right amount of heat. They were excellent. I make it a point to try hot wings everywhere in town and these are some of the best. I also enjoy bww mango habenero. I waited for an additional half hour at which point was informed they lost my order. But the place was literally busy as I’ve ever seen any restaurant in the area so I understood. A nice guy in a wheelchair who i assume was the manager took care of me and provided excellent customer service. I wasn’t too forward w/​him bc he looked like he’d whoop your a$$ all while enjoying the comfort of his chair. He at first offered to comp my order which was nice of him and when it took more time than expected he increased it by 50%. All of the waitresses did everything thing possible to keep up and provide good service to the insane crowd. The food was excellent and the kitchen guys could of used a foot in the a$$ but can you really blame them making $ 9.25 an hr? I cant.
Any Restaurant that follows all the unwritten codes for food service is alright with me. I’ll be back but maybe at off peak time. Also I Have A Gf And Never Cheat But Other Guys MIT Be Interested In The Good Looking Chicks in The bar. Best looking youngest early 20’s girls I’ve seen around here.

Hands down best specials in Moorsville! The atmosphere is upbeat and nicer than many of the other restaurant/​bar establishments that I have been to in this area of town. Lots of TV’s displaying just about any sporting event, pool tables, cute nice wait staff and the food never disappoints. Five stars!

Great place! Clean, comfortable, great drink specials. Food is good, too. They have St. louis-​style pizza and toasted ravioli. Service is fast and friendly. I had the chef salad for lunch on my first visit and it was great, fresh and a generous serving.

Its kind of like a nice Hooter of sorts with pool tables, huge screens, and a good beer selection. You can even get your booze in an over sized mug or an undersized pitcher, depending on how you look at.
The girls are decently attractive and have a little bit of butt cheek hanging out. The flirtatious vibe is cool sometimes, but other times I just want to drink my beer in peace. Plenty of pool tables and TV’s, even a big projection screen. Lots of great beer, but I can not yet comment on the food as I havn’t tried it. Plenty of great looking lunch specials. Think you can get a pound of wings or a pizza and then a salad for like $ 7.99. Looked at the burgers on menu and all sounded tasty. Will try the pepper jack, spicy mayo, and jalapeño popper one ASAP. I’ll let you guys know how that goes.

I stopped in today while I was exploring the area as I just moved here. I checked out Unilocal and the reviews seemed positive so I gave it a try. I sat down at the bar and I was quickly greeted by the bartender, Crystal. I got my beer quick and the glass was frosted to the point where I had a few sips of ice with my beer. I looked over the menu and the choices were a pretty good variety of bar food items. I went with the Menace burger it had pepper jack and jalepeno poppers on the burger and bacon. Everything came out quickly but not so fast I needed to worry about the quality of the food. Good burger I would have added more poppers or added a spicy sauce of some kind. If I called a burger a menace I was expecting some pain but nothing. I will definitely be back good food decent beer selection pool tables and darts. I am hoping the have dart leagues or something.

Good setting to hang with friends for Thursday night football. Could use better beer specials since things are kinda pricey. Decent bar food and you can get a really cool waitress named Leah.

Great sports bar, 100% sports bar. Pretty cool setup not really any other places in Mooresville that has darts and the pool tables and mixed right in with the restaurant. The food was normal sports bar food, wings, burgers and things like that. Had the cheese fries and they were pretty awesome (unhealthy but awesome). Would be a fun place to hang out if you like the sports bar atmosphere. Service was great and friendly, I think maybe the other reviewer that complained maybe was just there on an off day. Every business has those.

They have been open for a week today. I sat at the bar and Amber took care of me. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the grilled cheese bacon burger. It was in front of me in less than 5 minutes and it was awesome. There are pool tables and dart boards as well. Oh yeah… the servers are easy on the eyes. Even if they weren’t, the food and service was great. I will definitely be back.

This is THE SPOT in Mooresville for great food and drinks! Great service from a staff that clearly cares. The food is awesome, gotta try the Toasted Ravioli! Amazing! Great drink specials and a fun atmosphere. Check them out!
