We took the mixed ages boys gymnastics. It was a good active class with lots to do and skills to learn and definitely almost no sitting around waiting which is great. The first time we came it was literally 85° in the gym because they had no air conditioning so we waited a month and tried again. During mild weather the temperature in the gym is fine. We had a different coach almost every time. Sometimes the coach seemed into the kids and what they were doing and sometimes seemed bored and a little annoyed. Definitely didn’t smile or call the kids by name that I saw. Couple of times one of the coaches said things that were pretty insulting to the kids. My son liked his class ok because he really loves gymnastics and such, and was doing well but eventually decided not to go anymore because it’s sort of bummed him out to be there. We’re going to try it again since it’s been about six months and this place was I guess fairly new when we first went. Unfortunately the Lake Norman area there’s a real scarcity of gender neutral/boy-friendly gymnastics.

Great place to take your kids! Staff is friendly and management is helpful and flexible to anyone’s needs. We love summer camp and after school care but all my friends love the gymnastics!
