Edmund Center of Neuromuscular & Massage Therapy

First, I need to tell you about me. I am a female with a desk (sitting in a chair) job. I have long had neck, back, shoulders and headache problems. I was first introduced here by a family member who went for massage therapy for pain. Now, this is not where you go if you want a willy-​nilly spa-​like massage (though they’d certainly be capable of that — it’s not what makes them special).
It is an unassuming office in the back of a one-​story office building off Williamson Road (coming from I77, exit 33, it’s before the large church on the right and about ¼ mile before you get to Brawley School Road).
I always go to see Bob. He’s my go-​to-​guy for pain, stress/​tension, and migraines. I joke and tell him he should be «Dr. Bob» because the knowledge he has about the human body (psychology, neurology, muscles, joints…) is UNBELIEVABLE.
Because I go for deep-​tissue therapy treatment, it can be unconformable (but in a good — healing way). I also like that they offer packages — you can buy a ‘pack’ of massages for a discounted rate (they do not expire). My stepmom first went here, then my dad, co-​workers, and my husband who is a teacher knows several parents and professionals who go here as well.
The prices are fair, the quality is exceptional, and as a random side-​note, I find Bob fascinating to talk to. He’s a well-​educated, friendly and assuming guy filled with so much interesting knowledge. His wife (Rena) also works there — I like her too.
TIP: don’t bother going to the ‘student sessions’ at the similarly named school in Cornelius, I’ve been about 4x because it can be much cheaper and every time I left annoyed, in more pain and needing to visit Bob after all!

Have been several times and very happy to have found this place. Between my friends and me I think we have seen everyone there… never disappointed. Kim and Meg are awesome!
