After a long 10 hour drive, we were anxious to get to our room and sleep. Until we walked in and saw the condition of them. I would have rather slept on the parking lot floor — not kidding. Chairs had stains on them. All 3 in the room. And I’m not talking«here and there» little stains. The whole chair was stained. Not one clean spot on them. The box spring of the bed was exposed and looked like there was blood on it — a spot about 4 inches wide and 8 inches long — check my photos I uploaded for proof! The service was terrible. The guy at the front refused to change our rooms or give our money back — we left anyways and disputed the charges that would have been made. We went across the street to the Quality Inn which was a world of difference in terms of cleanliness and quality of service for only a bit more money. I’ve travelled across the U.S. and stayed in many motels/hotels. None of them have ever been this bad. And I’ve paid less for those. After getting the room at the Quality inn, the woman at the front desk told us that the Days Inn have had many problems with prostitution. So if that doesn’t answer your question about whether or not you should stay here, I don’t know what will. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere unless you already live on the street and want a more disgusting place to sleep. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Most miserable night lady I have ever met. I stay in hotels 2 – 3 days a week and this one takes top prize for worst experience with personnel. On top of that they double charged me for a stay and will not refund the difference. Spoke with the manager Tony Bassat and he just gave me the run around about the refund and was also a miserable person to talk with. He absolutely could care less about the customer. Long story short I will follow up with corporate and have no intentions of ever staying here again. Rooms are decent and that’s about it.

I’ve stayed at Days Inn locations before and have since. This location is a motel-style, meaning you don’t need to go into a building to access your room. The rooms are accessible from the parking lot Based solely on the room, I will NOT stay at this location again. I was surprised that I wasn’t able to find a motel/hotel for less than $ 60 a night(AAA rate) in Mooresville. I guess it being«Race City USA» is the reason? The room smelled okay but carpet was visibly nasty. Thank God I had a pair of rubber flip flops in my trunk. I could not have walked on the carpet barefoot without feeling like I would need to be decontaminated after leaving. I also never stay in a hotel without bringing along my special homemade blends of bedbug deterrent as well as disinfectant sprays. I was able to sleep in the bed because I covered it with my own flat sheet, removed the comforter, and the blanket. I also covered the horribly stained room chairs with my own fleece throws(after I disinfected them) so I could feel comfortable placing my bags on the chairs. To be fair, the room was on the ground floor and I’m thinking it probably had so much staining because ground floor rooms are probably easier for families with children. Still, what would it take for the owners to steam clean the chairs at least, and then spray with some type of fabric stain guard? Any way, In the morning, I saw a roach crawling on the carpet. When I stomped my foot at it to scare it into running in the other direction, it came running full on toward my foot. Next time I NEED a place to sleep overnight, it won’t be here.

$ 50 a night, stayed two nights(would have stayed longer, but needed to be staying further south). Huge room! Was surprised of the size for the price. One king bed and a large sofa sleeper. We checked in after midnight, the lady at the desk was super nice. The room was pretty clean and had a nice variety of soap/shampoo/coffee stuff for being a «budget motel». It was generic motel décor, a nice serta king bed, and clean linens. It had a microwave and refrigerator, decent sized tube TV. The bathroom was cleaner than most budget motels, and had newer tile/tub. I never checked out the breakfast area, but it looked decent at night when I checked in. Waffle house, Denny’s, a gas station, and a BBQ joint are all in the parking lot, and other food places very close by too. Overall surprisingly nice. Again, don’t expect the Holiday Inn, it’s not. It is the most decent budget motel I have found in Mooresville though.
