Big Bite’z

I had a salad. It was ok. The chicken was a bit over cooked. The onion rings were good. My daughter had the fried chix sandwich. It was so salty she did not finish it. The ranch was really thick and too much mayo in it for me. Overall it was ok.

The ONLY reason I’m giving this any stars is because the food is good.
Literally just spent 8 minutes trying to place a to-​go order. The lady on the phone, aside from already being difficult to understand, spent over half of the time yelling at people in the background instead of paying attention to my order. I had to repeat the flavor of milkshake 4 times, and repeat «no tomato» on the cheeseburger even more. I would have hung up if it hadn’t been for placing an order for a co worker as well.
I don’t appreciate someone yelling in my ear when I am trying to place a relatively simple order.
When my co-​worker arrived (she’s there as I type this), our order was incorrect and the drinks were non existent. I absolutely would NOT recommend trying to call this place unless you want to pull your hair out. This is the 3^rd time I’ve eaten here and every time there has been an issue.

Love this place. Excellent food, always hot and to order. Helen is very friendly. It’s like going to a friend’s place to eat.

Yes it is beside a gas station — but do not let that stop you from eating here. The baklava is to die for! Most certainly will be back!!!

Super friendly owner Eleni greeted us when we came up to the counter. We ordered 2 gyro platters and kids meals and everything was great, the gyro looked small at first but when i unwrapped it i was surprised. I tried to take a bite but it was HUGE! That’s why they’re called Big Bitez lol. I ate it most of the inside with my fork until i could bite into it. It came with greek salad and seasoned fries yumm
Everything was delicious! We talked with Eleni for a while after. Super sweet family. Will go back to try more Greek food, Opa!

Awesome, awesome and did I say awesome food.
We stopped by this great place off of 77 in North Carolina and let me tell you we were so happy we did.
They cook everything fresh and the food is so worth the wait. I had the wing plate mild and it was better than most wing places. The portion sizes from others that were in my party was commendable.
The staff was extremely nice too.
Next time you are that way you must stop by.

Family run. We’ve eaten at this location and Cornelius for years! Burgers and chicken, gyros and best fries and sweet tea!!!

One of my boyfriends favorite places to eat. He loves the Gyro’s, and last night we tried the shrimp and fish. Soo good. The portions are huge and everything was golden fried deliciousness.

I can’t support a business that would rather squeeze pennies out of you while you’re there, rather than rely on you to come back.
Only reason I give them two stars is because the food is good. I wouldn’t write home or anything but it’s good for what it is.
Shame that the ownership doesn’t have the confidence that you’ll come back again.

Everything is good here. From the pita burgers to the fried fish, fried shrimp and chicken wings. The owner Helen is the sweetest lady.
For your convenience they also have a drive thru. Most all of their sauces are home made. Tarter sauce compliments their seafood nicely.
If you haven’t tried them, I suggest you give it a try. They have two locations so you know they’re good!

Big Bite’z was great! The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I even told my husband that you can tell she really enjoys her job. She took the time with us to help us place a order, since we were traveling and had never been to her restaurant. She also took time to get to know us a little and we felt very welcome.
Location is connected to a gas station in Mooresville. The place was spotless and the food was fresh, hot, and plentiful. Great food, great portions and the owner takes pride in her establishment. I would highly recommend!

I was hesitant to order here at first because it’s attached to a gas station but I have to say the food is amazing and consistent. Can’t go wrong with a gyro or even try their buffalo chicken pita. Order ahead and use the drive up window for pickup. Super convenient.

Come to Big Bitez and meet Helen! She took the time to introduce herself and get to know us and our kids. You can tell she takes great pride in her work, and in the food – which, by the way, was awesome! Homemade potato salad, delicious gyros, great specials! We will be back!

The owner’s of the place has the worst attitude. Food is great when you get what you order. They always forget the salad dressings and the sauces. When you call them they tell you they forgot put it in the box, they tell you they did. I thought the customer is always right. Why would I want to drive 5 mile back to get dressing if they gave it to me the first time.
Avoid this place, be prepared for bad attitude

It’s hard to find a good Gyro Sandwich around here, but this place really delivers on flavor! Amazing sauce, a generous portion of meat, fresh and fantastic! Great staff, genuine and friendly.
One thing that stood out, the bathrooms are always spotless here! I always praise a restaurant for exceptionally clean bathrooms, it’s a reflection of the standards in their business.
Can’t wait to come back to Mooresville to try more of their menu!

Great Gyros. Good Greek food.
I love the Cornelius location since it is so close to where I live and the food is always great. Have grabbed dinner here a couple of times and it has also been great.
They know how to prepare lamb which is an art unto itself because it’s too easy to overcook.
Great job. I’ve eaten at both Cornelius and Mooresville and were both great. Will have to try the one in Indian Trail and see if it is equally as good. This is a family owned business and all owners are closely related so you know that it’s consistent.

This is solely for reviewing their food for take out. Got the Friday special of souvlaki with fries for $ 6.45. The souvlaki was a decent size full of pork, iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes and a tzaziki sauce (I ordered an extra helping of sauce bc i like it loaded in case the meat turns out dry), but the pita was deliciously soft. The pork souvlaki meat wasn’t the best; I wished it was sliced thinner but overall not bad, just not the best I’ve had. The shoestring cut fries with seasoning was pretty tasty. So overall, not the best but not bad overall. Will i come here again? Maybe to try their gyro.
