Terrible customer service since Mc Kesson purchased them. I am a healthcare leader, and I will urge my company to never source from Sterling.

Sterling Medical Services as a medical supplier providing individuals with home care medical items. They are one of the few local suppliers that carry diabetic supplies, enteral supplies, infusion supplies, ostomy supplies, respiratory, skincare, urological supplies along with wound care and general medical supplies. I would rate them high for taking care of medical insurance billing and really fast delivery of supplies once you can get an order place. Where they are really lacking is in their customer service telephone support. The people who answer the calls are apathetic — they have no emotion and could care less about when you get your items or when you don’t so placing orders can be challenging. My biggest complaint with this company is automatic monthly or quarterly orders. Some insurance companies prohibit automatic reorders so the customer or patient has to call Sterling to reorder supplies. Sterling offers a service where they call the customer to confirm they need the supplies. Unfortunately they fail to make those calls despite reassuring you that they are going to do it. This can be very problematic and leave people without the right supplies in any given month. They need to improve customer support and they need to improve the ordering for regular supply customers. Once they get your order, they are the best in town for delivering in a timely manner. They even send email communications with UPS tracking numbers so you know when to expect the package and they also send you an email once UPS confirms the package was delivered. If they can improve their customer service, they would be a five-​star operation.
