Went for Sunday breakfast. Supposed to open at 7:30. By 7:45 they still wouldn’t unlock the doors for the small line of people outside. Called and«jennifer» said they open at 7:30 so I asked her to look outside. Two minutes on hold she comes back on phone to say it would be awhile yet. I asked if she didn’t think it would be nice to notify those waiting and that I would notify Furrs corporate on Monday. She said she didn’t mind if we did that. We left.

The food was amazing! It reminds me of my grandmother’s southern cuisine. The staff was so helpful and checked on me periodically. The kitchen manager came out and asked if there was anything I wanted cooked a special way that he could make it for me. Thanks Antonio! You rock! I can’t wait to come back.

Food good. Restrooms bad. Tip: magic eraser will get the dirty film off subway tile under paper towel dispenser. This couldn’t have built up over night

I came in with a party of eight. The hostess had a difficult time getting our drink order and put it into the computer wrong. Even though she was aware she made the mistake she didn’t fix it but instead advised us to just tell the waitres. We told the waitress but still ended up getting wrong drinks. The silverware was dirty and still had actual small chunks of food on them. I went and got a plate from the buffet and it was dirty also. I’m very disappointed.

I do love the fact that they have a salad bar! I love salad bars! Some of the food needs salt and pepper. The cranberry chicken salad was great! Ice cream and sprinkles was the perfect dessert! :) 4 out of 5 stars!

The salad bar was fresh but everything else was awful! The sides were very bland and either steamed or fried. The meats were very tough and appeared to have set under a heat lamp for quite a while.

I finally made my way to Furr’s for the first time. I thought the food here was only average, I didn’t think it was all that great. However, I really enjoyed the strawberry short cake. It also seems to me that the food selection isn’t as large as I hoped it to be. The food here is very similar to Golden Corral. It also isn’t as flavorful as Golden Corral. I couldn’t find a spoon anywhere in the restaurant. There was only a fork and knife in a paper pouch. I didn’t bother asking where the spoon was, but it wasn’t too big of a deal.

Geez I was so super excited when I saw that Furr’s had caesar salad but I am an idiot for being hasty and not realizing that salads that are pre-made and have been sitting in their own dressing are GROSS. The croutons were soggy. It was disgusting. So I moved on to something I hoped would be better. The choices for me were carbs, carbs and more carbs since I don’t eat meat so I got some macaroni and cheese, a piece of cheese pizza and some fried okra. HAHA I’m laughing just thinking about the contents of my dinner last night. The fried okra was actually pretty good and it was really fresh. The pizza was kind of hard and had been sitting there for a while and the macaroni and cheese was alright. After all that, I had a piece of triple truffle pie and it was pretty tasty. The fact of the matter is, though, Furr’s is a buffet. Furr’s is close to $ 11 for an adult. Furr’s is not very good. I guess the point of eating is to get full, so at least I accomplished that… I would never go back to Furr’s on my own accord, though.

Not sure what it was about today but the food was mediocre. The sevice was good as always but the many of the silverware packets were dirty, qhoch I find inexcusable.

I’m usually not a fan of buffets because the food is usually old and sitting under heat lamps for who knows how long. However, I was quite impressed with Furr’s. There were lots of healthy options. They had a couple of salad bars, vegetables, a variety of potatoes, fish, and soup. Everything looked very fresh and I saw them constantly refilling all the pans. They had two types of rolls: wheat and white which tasted amazing! I wasn’t that impressed with their dessert options. They had about 10 pies to choose from. I’m not a fan of pies so I didn’t care much for them. The restaurant was large with lots of seating options. My group had about 18 people and we sat in a room that was separated from everyone else but it was right next to the buffet. I liked that we could talk as loud as we wanted without disturbing others. Our waitress, Maria, was such a sweetheart! She took great care of our large group. None of us ever went without refills on our drinks. An adult buffet and mountain dew cost $ 13.29.

A great buffet for senior citizens and others who are trying to decrease their level of salt intake. Lots of food choices but the quality of food is questionable. Many under-seasoned dishes are served on the buffet. Lots of steamed vegetables… broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, and carrots. Plenty of meat choices: fried chicken, baked chicken, fried shrimp, bbq pork ribs, baked fish, fried fish, sliced turkey and roast beef available at the cutting station. I started off my meal with a salad. I was happy to see a fairly fresh selection of lettuce, spinach, and other mixed greens for my salad. I tried a few of the fish dishes but they were all under-seasoned. Furr’s also provides a hamburger, nacho, baked potato bar but the meat patties appeared to be broiled, so I avoided this section of the buffet. The meat cutting station is awesome since I was served a thick, large slice of moist turkey which I topped with cranberry sauce. Everything seems fresh at the cutting stations. Overall, I recommend saving your stomach for their desserts. They had a great selection of pies and cakes. German chocolate, red-velvet, and carrot cake are not your typical desserts offered at most buffet restaurants but Furr’s is different. Overall, I was pleased with the meal since I was able to sample a little of everything. You will not leave hungry when you dine at Furr’s.

i was impressed by this furr’s. great, fresh food with lots of healthy(and not lukewarm) options like veggies, fish, baked potato/yams, etc. featuring a froyo station! and many pies and cobblers, the subset of which i sampled were tasty. the salad bar, though not incredibly comprehensive, was fresh. i don’t go to all you can eat buffets so often, but if i lived here i would go back. i also appreciate that furrs’ website posts nutrition information for their daily and overall menus.

Nothing like Furr’s of yesteryear. This place is totally different from the old school Furr’s that I remember from my childhood, which is both good and bad. Likes: The food is fresher than in the old cafeteria style restaurants. I like that this place is a buffet instead of the old style, where you’d line up and stock your trays until they flowed over so that you didn’t have to make a trip back out(and go against the line’s current to fight for a damn piece of pie or some mashed potatoes). Dislikes: Though fresher, the food is not as flavorful as Furr’s food once was. The place is also pretty crowded and over priced. I don’t care for the rolls or the desserts, and most of the entrees lack flavor as well. Overall, Furr’s is okay but falls just short of Golden Corral. My personal favorite buffet place though is the Hometown Buffet, which despite being cramped with old people, serves some pretty tasty food at a lower price than either of the other two.

Furr’s was very good. As far as buffets I was very pleased with Furr’s. Everything seemed very fresh and seasoned nicely. Not just one«season blend» in everything. The salad bar was nicely stacked. Many of the buffets here in OKC have food of just one color Golden Brown(fried). It was nice to see a buffet with many vegetable choices as well as baked fish and chicken. Drinks were kept full and there desert bar had many choices. I will go here again to make sure the service is repeatable. This place is worth a try.
