At Rocky Mountain Oil Change Center, our goal is to provide you with the best quality service in an efficient time-​frame, making your experience enjoyable and convenient. Our services include full service oil change, transmission flush, engine flush, 4×4 services, radiator flush, serpentine belt, power steering flush, fuel injection cleaning, fuel filter, wiper blades, and more. We also have a car wash at this location only!

Waiting until something goes wrong with your vehicle before addressing its needs has many disadvantages. Repairs are usually significantly more expensive than regular maintenance, so why take the risk of an untimely breakdown?

History

Established in 1995.

After working for a major oil company for many years, John Savage dreamed of opening his own lube center one day. The Savage family realized their dream on September 7th, 1995 when Rocky Mountain Oil Change Center opened for business. With over two decades of success, we look forward to many more years serving Castle Rock!

Car wash spinner brush was partially detached, it put a scratch down the length of my Escalade. The owner of Rocky Mountain Oil Change Center, John, was defensive from beginning, refused to fix my car. Filing small claims Monday. Huge disappointment that people these days just wont do the right thing. Shame.
I had been through the car wash dozens of times, it does a good job, sometimes required two passes, I always tipped the prescrub guy. I will never do business here again, and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place. No ethics.

The staff was great, very friendly and assured my satisfaction on my car wash. I did the $ 25 wash and felt they did a great job. I will be back to get my oil changed.

Very friendly staff, and there is a lot going on here in a very small space. I will have to hit this place for more services to get a real feel for it, however.
Note: If you buy the $ 25 Express Cleaning at the car wash, be advised that in order to get the console/​dash dusting, vacuuming, and interior/​exterior window washing, you must exit the regular wash cycle like normal, hook a sharp RIGHT, and drive up to the leftmost garage and the attendants inside will help you out; there are no signs indicating this.

Been here a few times and they are very nice and always just get on with it and get my oil change taken care of pronto! They are honest and don’t sell you on services you don’t need so that is nice. The waiting room is comfortable and the staff is nice so what more do you need :)

Horrible wash and they didn’t even dry the car. Go across the highway and do it yourself and save you about 10 bucks. Super expensive for what you get.

They would have gotten 2 stars until my husband checked the oil a week later. We were a quart low in a vehicle that doesn’t burn oil.
My initial complaint was that three manager was rude and unfriendly when I first pulled in. Then he told me the high price of service, but said it included topping of fluids and vacuuming. I needed an oil change.
I went for lunch and when I came back they said my cabin filter was dirty. Sounds like their MO. I thought they did a shotty job with the vacuum so I was going to go over it when I got home. Then it was obvious that a vacuum had never touched my vehicle.
I have a mechanic but he’s always really busy so I thought I’d just get the oil changed quickly. Never again at Rocky Mountain Monument.

Good wash, personal service, custom prep of your car (bugs etc) before the wash. No big lines.
Downsides: no hand dry, not cheap (about like the $ 10 deluxe wash at Water Works in COS but more $$$.)
Perhaps their best deal is the $ 25 super deluxe that includes inside/​out window cleaning and full vacuum.

Great staff. They do a REALLY good job prepping the vehicles. Hard to make the turn to get into the wash in an extended SUV but it’s worth it. Top dollar wash is $ 6 less than other big was tunnels.

Oil change was fine but expensive. My complaints are that they told me my cabin filter was dirty and needed to be replaced when I just had a couple months prior. My second complaint is that they told me that had refilled my fluids and they never did my window washer fluid.
I like to go there for car washes but never again for an oil change.

My car broke down 30 miles after receiving an oil change from this company. I was suspicious something might have been done wrong and called Rocky Mountain Oil Change thinking I would start with them. The owner and another employee actually drove out immediately to where I was to inspect the truck. They didn’t complain or try to do the normal denial of responsibility. When they arrived they inspected my engine and showed me what had happened. It had nothing to do at all with their work but were so very helpful to me anyways. I was very impressed with their customer service and concern.

I am always disappointed every time I visit Rocky Mountain Oil Change, especially if it is for a car wash of any sort. So you may ask why I keep going? Stupidity and convenience. But still I felt the need to complain about the quality of service… it’s very poor. This last guy who rinsed my car off as it entered the car wash had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth the whole time… very appealing… not! And the owner doesn’t care which is sad, but I have tried once before to speak with him when I had paid for my car to be detailed and it was shameless what a poor job they did. Honestly, I am usually very easy going and easy to please, but I sometimes wonder how they stay in business.
