Montrose Orchards is on the small side compared to some of the cider mills that offer pumpkin patches, complimentary wine testings, and hayrides that circle petting zoos. Although it lacks a lot of the gimmicky attractions, Montrose Orchards does two things really well: donuts and cider. They sell muffins, pies, and breads in addition to the basic orchard bakery trifecta: cider, pumpkin and sugar donuts. You’ll also find other necessities here, like apple butter, caramel apples, gourds, pumpkins, and other fall goodies. A great local spot if you live in the area, or happen to be visiting and need a cider + donut pick me up.
