Really spectacular service and food! I had the egg and bacon(no dairy, multi grain, sub turkey) and it was delicious. Plus the presentation was lovely. I am remiss for not taking a photo. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great coffee, too.

Oh my goodness, this place is a beautiful, hidden gem! I live fairly close to this café and I can’t believe I did not know about it until now. The sandwiches here just taste so fresh and clean! Simple, yet just so good. The sandwiches here come with a salad on the side and the dressing for the salad was just. heavenly. I wish I had asked what kind of dressing they use! Ill probably ask the next time I go, hehe. I also highly recommend the desserts here. Ive had both the éclair and the cream puff and theyre both 5⁄5. Yum!

Love this place, coffee is amazing and they are beyond helpful. Great food is worth the wait! My favorite was the Italian salami sandwich and they even made it as a salad for me when I stopped eating bread. Love them.

They call it «Gio’s Baguettes» but don’t try to buy a baguette here. It seems they are reserved for the CIA or something. Order one, and the clerk will give you a panicked look, then look at the manager who apparently used to sell soup to Seinfeld. He will ponder, shake his head no, and then the clerk will say«no baguette for you!». You can get a baguette sandwich though, if the moon is rising in the east that evening. You can also get a nice big cakey Muffin, or a pastry(almost all of them seemed to have nutella so I passed). Éclair was pretty good.

We are now a regular here. The price is right for the pastries. May be a buck or two higher for the panini’s, baguettes, and sandwiches. Being a frequent traveler to Europe, having the Illy coffee is a big plus, although it isn’t brewed as strong as Italy. The food is clean and good. What i like the most are the tables outside where we can enjoy that small town foothill experience. Tastes nice and clean. The food takes over 20 minutes on average. Sometimes longer. Don’t expect fast quick service.

I don’t know how this place has 4 stars. Horrible service. Ordered a tuna sandwich and a crêpe, took them about 45 minutes to make. No apologies were made. Food was not even good. The sandwich tasted like the ones you get from the vending machines but triple the cost and again took forever. Crêpe was just whatever. Not impressed at all, waste of my time and money.

Time for an update! This place is still the gem it was a few years back. This small business has delicious sandwiches, crepes and desserts. Try their coffee too while you’re at it. I come here all the time. Don’t expect for it to be a fast food restaurant — it’s not. They use quality ingredients and don’t slap on cheap stuff. I’m not saying it’s going to take forever but it’s not Subway(which is precisely why I go here)! Be patient(scroll through your emails) and you’ll be glad you did. If you want to experience Paris this is the place.

I went here because I read reviews about their bread — the baguette in particular. Yeah. Forget it. The baguettes were as white bread as white bread can be. Emphatically not something you would find in a Boulangerie in Paris. I call BS on that one. No flavor at all. Pasty inside, crust was thin, without character. This was not a dough that fermented for a day. I have no confidence that they know what a poolish is at all, and does not stack up to the reasonable baguettes you can find at Trader Joe’s or many grocery stores nowadays. I have had baguettes in Paris, and the baker would be kicked to the curb in minutes putting up a product like that. Awful, just awful. Their other stuff might be great — can’t tell you. But their bread, utterly forgettable. Wish I could forget. But I won’t. And I won’t be back.

Gio’s is that type of place where its hard to order a new item because«the usual» is just perfect and it’s sooo hard to just order one thing. So my co worker and I get coffee/muffins in the morning and we take turns swinging by for a sandwich or soup. We’re fatties lol, but we’re happy! The muffins… OHH my Gosh, so delish. I continue ordering the Organic Banana Nut just because its amazing. I tired the coffee cake and today I finally ordered he blueberry muffin. I can taste the fresh berries and butter(a good thing). IDK if they put butter, but butter is always good lol. The banana nut is still my all time fav. I had the other sweets too, but I can go on and on. So you go check them out. The tuna and the Turkey/Salami sandwich are my two favs. I haven’t ordered the other types just because those two are just perfect. Every time I go in, I hear people order the chicken salad sandwich. Soooo, I think that’s a must the next time I go in. Now, the COFFEE! I’m that girl ordering a black coffee. I like my coffee strong and the brew is on point. Then my co worker comes in the office all cool with a Gio’s cup. He tells me Az made him a special iced coffee. He kept talking about it. So there I go on my afternoon break and I have Sal call Az to have the«special coffee» ready. So I go and I’m chit chatting with Az and she says it’s an «Americano». Then I clearly see«Americano» on the menu! lol I enjoyed my favorite Americano on the way to the office and broke the news to Sal that he isn’t that special! lol. Anyways, Az is the best. She truly makes you feel special with the customer service and delicious goodies. I’m so glad they are open Mondays! Montrose has a trend of being closed Mondays.

I had the turkey, the hubs had the ham and butter. Go with the ham and butter. You’ll feel like you are in Paris and that’s a good thing! I am glad to have found this spot and can’t wait to work my way through the menu.

After lunch one afternoon my boyfriend and I were walking in Montrose and found this super cute bakery/café that we always walked by but never went inside. We finally decided to give it a try and WOW! We fell in love with their Strawberry Nutella Crepes! Really delicious and so sweet yet slightly tart from the strawberries. Perfect combination. When you walk into Gio’s Baguettes & More it looks like a cute little French patisserie that you would find in Paris. There are many seats and outlets so you could plug in your laptop and study or work while having a nice pastry and cappuccino to accompany you. The place is slow paced and so not very many distractions. Overall, my boyfriend and I will be coming back here again and again. We love it!

Again thanks to Unilocal I was looking for a place to have nice breakfast I’m Montrose area for a husband found Gio’s on Unilocal and was excited like a baby. Texted me pictures of Strawberry Crepes and some special Strawberry Nutella Baguette sandwich was made by the Gio specially for my husband. We called it «Montrose Morning sandwich» look at pictures below. Being honest with so much competition around Montrose this place rocks and provides one of the best Breakfast in area. Having my own business I know how hard is to compete with big and established companies like Starbucks and Coffee Bean and still provide such an amazing high quality food and drinks. 1. Strawberry Crepes absolutely delicious with lots of(really lots of) strawberries 2. Cream brûlée with some berries on top one of most delicious Cream brûlée I ever tried 3. Coffee of course. I got regular and my husband got doppio and no surprise here too. Excellent P. S. Such a cozy place. Must try-:)

After driving past Gio’s almost everyday, I finally decided to give it a try! My best friend and I came here at around 11:30Am. Pretty busy, took about 10 – 15 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. The décor inside is very cute, felt like I was in Italy. Their menu has a lot of different options. Not so many egg dishes for breakfast but they have lots of pastries to make up for it! I had the tuna melt and it was amazing. The bread was fantastic but the sandwich itself was pretty plain. Just the bread, tuna, and melted cheese. Next time I’ll ask for condiments but it was still very tasty. The side salad was very basic but the dressing was sooooo good! My best friend had the veggie omelette baguette and she licked her plate clean. Self explanatory. Coffee frap was also delish! The lady at the cashier was so nice and friendly. She asked if she could help us decide what to order and was extremely welcoming. I wish I came to Gio’s the other 50 times I drove by but I’ll definitely be back!

Looking for desserts? This is a place to try! Got nothing to say but good stuff about this cute and elegant little French bakery and café. We didn’t get any baguettes but we tried some of their fine pastries. I loved the Nutella Tart!

What a perfect little café. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this place when I was in Montrose, and starving. I ordered a caprese and my husband ordered a ham and swiss. WOW! The baguettes are SOGOOD! It really tastes like it’s from France or Spain. It’s super crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The sandwich was nicely balanced with thick slices of fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, a liberal amount of basil and a nice creamy balsamic dressing. I think its cute that they use French dressing on the side salad. I don’t think I’ve had it since I was a kid — so next time I’d probably ask for the dressing from the caprese sandwich. I tried a KOUIGNAMANN(a slightly sweet, almost custardy-center croissant in the shape of a flower, kinda) from the bakery case and it was awesome. I’ve been wanting to try one for a while, as it seems like it’s the new«ITPASTRY». It did not disappoint! Can’t wait to make an excuse to come back here.
