We’re not really a sports-crazy family, so we can’t comment on the grade of softball. But what we do appreciate is the relaxed atmosphere that this league provides. As a first time youth sports kids, our daughter made lots of good friends here, and actually looks forward to the practices as much as the games themselves!

I can’t say enough good things about this league. My daughter plays 10U now and has been playing for 2 years now. Her development from the first year to now has increased exponentially, thanks to the dedication of the coaches. Coach Luke and Coach John are the most dedicated individuals you will ever find in these fields, they pour their heart and soul into the development of these girls. I appreciate every minute they put into it. There are no geographical boundaries on this league… come join us!

Great org because it doesn’t have the district boundaries like others. Girls can come from all over to join the league. Coaches and board members are all very down to earth and easy to approach.

I’ve always believed in the importance of team sports for a child. It serves a multitude of functions from fostering good sportsmanship to life-long friendships. As in all sports, a team is as good as its coaches. CVGSA was fortunate enough to garner one of the most impressive coaches that I’ve ever met. The coach is committed not only to the team, but he takes a vested interest in each child. His philosophy is that each child’s well-being contributes to the whole. It took me years to learn that softball is a highly cerebral sport. It teaches children to think on their feet. It builds self confidence and self reliance. It urges kids to be altruistic-to think for the team and not just for themselves.
