Best ice cream in the area, no question! It’s made fresh, and ingredients are sourced locally, so the daily flavors are always changing. On any given day, there’s probably at least a couple dozen flavors to choose from, ranging anywhere from the simple classics(chocolate, mint, cookie dough, etc.) to the more unique(mandarin orange, cinnamon crunch, pineapple, banana). My family has been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge and the price is great. I definitely miss this place when I’m not in PA, and try to make a stop here as often as I can whenever I’m in town.

Amazing place for icecream. My daughter goes to college in the area and when I came up to visit this weekend, she wanted to take me here. She explained to me that they source ingredients locally which was what really make me stop by to get icecream. I could not have been more amazed at the freshness. Plus thr price was so cheap.

So many delicious flavors! :D! The portions are very generous, and the prices are extremely reasonable. :]! $ 2.50 for a «small» that’s actually ginormous. You can get it in a cup or a cone. I had the peach and the cookie dough(weird combination, I know, but satisfied two cravings in one!), and my friend got the oreo. It was glorious! Definitely stop by here and give it a try if you get the chance! :]

Yum! Try the dark chocolate, it’s fabulous. But beware, the portions are huge, a «small» is quite large! Worth the trip!

We love Eder’s Ice Cream! Best ice cream around and it is made on location. They are a little short on parking, but it is worth the trouble. Stop by and I promise the ice cream will not disappoint!

Despite the line, Eddy’s is stellar. Worth the trip. The service was fabulous. The scoopers were very informative and friendly. Love Love Love!

Went there last night. Service: Since it was our first time there, the guy scooping our orders was very helpful at explaining what was in all of the Eder’s-only flavors. He was very patient and helpful and we did not feel rushed despite the line behind us. He also let us choose what order the flavors were put onto the cone, which was nice(see note about the Dark Chocolate flavor) Flavors: GIven that they have two-dozen or so flavors on a given night, I was surprised to find out how many had peanut butter or peanuts in them. I’m not a huge peanuts/peanut butter in my ice cream fan, but I know some folks are: wink: nuts about that sort of thing. We each got ‘smalls’(2GIANT scoops for $ 2.50) and between us tried four flavors — Dark Chocolate — melted the quickest, but actually had flakes of real chocolate blended through it, this was our joint favorite flavor of the ones we ordered. Since it melts faster than most, put it on the top of your cone or bowl. Cinnamon Crunch — good, but more subtle and so got lost when paired with the chocolate. Still a nice flavor. Would get again. Mint Whoopie Pie — this was described to me as mint ice cream with peppermint patties in it. I’ve had whoopie pies before and so knew that a whoopie pie was more cake like. The mint base was good, but the whoopie pie pieces(which were cake-y, not peppermint patty) were dry and not too chocolate-y tasting. I’d try something else next time. Cherry garden — Marashino, pineapple, coconut. Tasty, but somehow not over the top amazing. I will keep trying other flavors(or just order the dark chocolate and call it good enough) Other comments: 1. Someone else said, get the ‘Baby’ size unless you want to have ice cream for dinner. This is pretty much true. When we come back next we’d consider just getting a pint or half gallon to go(so we can enjoy it in whatever serving size we’d like). 2. Since the ice cream can be so hard, the plastic spoons you get have a rough time sometimes getting into the ice cream. 3. Our neighbor told us about the place because he provides raspberries to Eder’s when they make their red raspberry flavor. Points to Eder’s for sourcing locally!

Great flavors and mouthfeel! Huge portions for the price(like almost a pint of scooped ice cream for $ 2.50). Definitely worth the trip if you are anywhere close. No bathroom — no sinks for messy hands. Only a couple of seats inside.

One of the things I miss most about Williamsport is definitely Eder’s ice cream! My favorite is the dark chocolate. This place is very simple. They sell their own homemade hard ice cream, milkshakes, and basic sundaes. You can get it in a cup or a cake cone, or in tubs to take home. There’s a small selection of pretzels/chips, and that’s it. No sprinkles, no soft serve, no dip top; they don’t even have sodas, though they will give you a cup of tap water. The place is staffed by disinterested teens. That being said it’s my favorite ice cream ever with a lovely location, so what else do you really need for that perfect summer ice cream experience? If you’re in the area you must try it, even though it’s a bit out of the way!

Only reason they don’t get 5 stars is once in a while they miss flavor consistency. Other than that great ice cream & milk shakes. Great prices and massive portions. Unless you plan to have ice-cream for dinner get the baby size, the large is massive. We visit friends in the area every month and make it a point to stop in. If you’re in the neighborhood are just feel like a drive it’s worth it.

Cheap price, huge potion, some good test ice cream. Good stop for summer time especially at night.
