I live about an hour’s drive from here, but whenever I am close I make a point of stopping. I haven’t done any of their meat packages, which are a great deal, but I just don’t need that quantity. The people are super friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I love freshly ground beef chuck to make homemade burgers, so I pick out a nice big chuck and have them freshly grind it for me. They also sell frozen 5 lb. boxes of pork breakfast sausages, that are excellent, and they are only $ 15.00. Last time there we also bought their store made sweet and hot Italian sausages that were very tasty. Nest time you head to the Catskills, throw a cooler in the car and stock up.

Shopping there is a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly. The meat is always fresh and they have many different size meat packages galore at great prices! Special requests are no problem for them. They also have frozen fish. Since I don’t live in Monticello, they are a ways away from me but very worth the trip if I wait until I have a bigger order. They are highly recommended regardless of the size of your meat order.
