The only thing stopping me from giving this facility 5 stars is the absolute lack of handicapped-designated parking spaces at the side entrances. There is a curb ramp, but mobility-impaired folks such as I are forced to hunt for parking or park at the main entrance and walk indoors to your room. I believe this is a major violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. My room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean. Staff was very polite and friendly, very helpful. The hot breakfast buffet is great; only comment is the poor(watery) quality of the orange juice and the minuscule size of the yogurt containers. Nice variety of nicely scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy and my favorite, a mini-pizza with cheese, egg, and bacon. Get your parking up to ADA standards, and I’ll be back.

Stayed here this past weekend. Kids were playing at Indiana Beach in the Skyroom Lounge. My overall review hasn’t changed at all. Still the best around Monticello. Worth the extra few bucks… Still the best tasting coffee I ever had in a hotel, even though it’s through a machine. It’s very tasty! If the kids get booked for next year, we’ll be back!

My stay was pretty nice for a business trip here. The room was very nice and comfortable. King bed was super relaxing. Nice kitchen area in the room for making dinner and snacks while staying. Only complaints were that the water pressure was very low and showers were hard to take with a trickle coming out of the shower head. The other concern was the exterior lights they have to light up the building at night. It lights up every room at night which makes it hard to sleep.

Nice hotel close to Indiana Beach. I stay here quite often for work, it’s always clean and the staff are extremely helpful and genuinely care about your stay. Sculptures fitness center is a great gym and is included in your stay. Other amenities that are included are hot tub, indoor pool and sauna. There is a managers appreciation on Wednesdays for an hour with free food, and drinks(alcoholic and non alcoholic) which is a nice perk when your traveling.

I have stayed here quite extensively over the past 6 months. The good: nice rooms, nice bed, nice pool. The buffet on Tuesday night is usually pretty decent for a buffet. The bad: you can tell what day of the week it is by what breakfast they have laid out. And I’m pretty sure that’s what’s available is nothing more than the left overs from two days before. And the coffee is sub-par and is often on empty. But the biggest thing– WHEREISTHEWIFI? I mean, even if I’m down the road at the Pine View, trying to sleep on a lumpy bed, at least I can watch netflix. Here at the best Western, not at all. And it hasn’t been a day, or a week, but well over a month and the ‘Comcast problem’(or so I’m told) hasn’t been resolved.

This review is for the Brandywine Conference Center only, not for the hotel. I attended a luncheon here recently, and I was impressed. I live and work in nearby Lafayette and have attended many luncheons at local hotels there, and few can match this. The room is large(218 were seated comfortably at the event I attended). The lobby, restrooms and coatroom were also roomy. The decorations are naturally neutral and unremarkable. The food was actually quite good. I had parmesan crusted tilapia, red mashed potatoes, baby carrots, and cesar salad. The fish was a bit dry but entirely edible. Nothing really remarkable, but pretty good for a catered buffet. If you are planning a large party, wedding, or other event in Monticello, this will certainly work for you.

We stayed here for a Wedding and had an excellent time! The front desk was amazing, when my zipper broke they provided me with an excess of safety pins to hold me together. Our GPS found it really easily, always great! Also, the health club attached has a pool, sauna, and hot tub open to hotel guests daily until midnight. This is key if you have a small child dying to swim and it’s 11pm. Whatever will wear you out, sweetie. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Rooms were clean and spacious, even had mini fridges! Bathrooms had an excess of towels, which i loooove. Definitely check this place out-a little pricey. but you get what you pay for

My father and mother in-law stayed here over the weekend since our house was full of siblings and sibling in-laws. I thought this place was way over priced for a Best Western and especially since it was in the off season and had more vacancies than not, but my in-laws could not sing its praises enough. The Best Western is the only hotel chain in town. The motels are actually outside of town. Everything else is a bed & breakfast, rental cabin or rental house. When they made their reservations, they informed the front desk that they might have their 8 year old grandson stay with them. The lady at the front desk said it wasn’t a problem, and the day they checked-in, she even remembered they had an 8 year old grandson. The hotel was very clean and decorated well and recently. Everything had a warm touch. There is a swimming pool, whirl pool and Structures Gym attached so there is also access to a basketball and racquetball court. My in-laws and 8 year old nephew really enjoyed their stay. They even had the continental breakfast there, instead of at my house, so I appreciate the Best Western had a good enough spread to spare me from having to cook more. My in-laws would happily stay there again if they had to.
