B & K Rootbeer

First off let me say that if you have been to any other B&K locations (Kokomo, Logansport, etc) keep your expectations low for this Monticello location.
They literally just pay for the name.
The root beer is a completely different recipe — way too sweet; the taste of sugar and syrup is very overwhelming.
They do not have a number of items on their menu that are on the other menus (ie: my personal favorite, chicken tenders)
The carhops expect a huge tip even though they don’t do anything.
I made the mistake of paying with my credit card and signing the receipt without writing down my total or a tip (I blame my pregnancy brain!) About 5 minutes after realizing this, I asked the carhop to bring it back so I could write the total down. She walked away and came back and said «well we already have the $ 3.00 tip added to it».
I was dumbfounded. I quickly corrected her and informed her that I didn’t tip and demanded she bring me the receipt. She hadn’t written anything down yet on it so I rounded up to the next dollar and left.
My point of this rant is: don’t have high expectations while coming to this «restaurant». In fact, if given the opportunity, go somewhere else.
