This is a very unique BnB. Loved how Pat has renovated this historical home. The Welcome was wonderful. I stay in a ton of BnB. There are less antiques which I find refreshing. Wifi needs more power. The bed was hard. Not my fav. But that is my taste. I do not like large generic toiletries. But I carry my own so that did not matter. The breakfast was excellent. The birds were chirping and there was a fresh breeze. A great way to start my day.

A reasonably priced rambling mansion built in 1872 in Monticello, the county seat of Jefferson County. The building is colorfully painted and sound but will not be mistaken for a museum. It is a place to live in and enjoy. The hostess seems to have a sixth sense as to when to talk and when to disappear and serves up a great breakfast. She’s pretty gung-​ho on the town, as well she should be. It’s one of the nicest places that I’ve never heard of.
