Awesome! Cute place with a quiet family atmosphere. Great food & service! Huge portion sizes, more than one person can eat. The staff is so friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great Indian food with right amount of variety. Servers and hostess are extremely nice. Highly recommend this place.

I had a very nice experience here. $ 2 beer and wine for happy hour and plenty of choices, including vegitarian friendly options. The atmosphere is nice and the food doesn’t fall short either. Our server was attentive and polite as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Taste of India is a restaurant which has authentic Indian Foods with varied menu options. It offers Lunch Buffet from 11am — 3 pm in a moderate price and Dinner is offered from 5 pm — 10 pm .
Various dishes of vegetables, chicken, lamb, goat, fish and shrimps are served typically in Indian style cooking.
The food here is delicious and amazing. Come and see for yourself!

Very good Indian cuisine. I have eaten Indian food often and this was the best, I have ever had. Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend eating the chicken masala.

The bad reviews here leave me a little stunned. Maybe it’s because I mostly get take out? The 3 or 4 times I’ve dined inside have been a pleasant experience. The food… is SO good. The saag paneer and naan is the best I’ve ever had. I have yet to meet a dish I didn’t like here. The atmosphere could use a little work, but I hope this place is here to stay!

We just happened to be at academy and were wanting something different. With two teens, one being a vegetarian, I was skeptical. But what a great surprise when the food was delivered and it was wonderful. We had the saag paneer, chicken Marsala, tandoori chicken and a vegetarian dumpling something. which was actually superb! The Naan was perfect .even though I’ve never had it sliced into triangles. it was a great texture and flavor. Just traveling through from Houston so I don’t know if I’ll see them again. but if you’re looking for a great out of the way Indian cuisine. def try this place!!!

Haven’t been in for dinner in a while, was good to be back. Ordered vegetable korma and some naan. Yum!

I grew up around great Indian food and was skeptical of finding a good restaurant in Montgomery. However, I am really pleased with this find. I have had the opportunity to sample both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu.
Buffet: Excellent variety of choices. A lot of times Indian buffets seem to run the risk of all of the dishes tasting the same, but I was really pleased by the diversity of flavors present, as well as the selection of chutneys, desserts, etc that were also available. All of the curries are quite mild, but this is to be expected with a buffet.
Dinner: While the buffet was great for variety, I felt that the «to order» menu is where this restaurant really shines. The range of hotness for the dishes was great and the diversity and intensity of the flavors were fantastic. Tried 3 different dishes and each one was delicious and very fresh.
Service was quiet, but attentive.
Would go again.

I’m a huge fan of Indian food. I’m late to the party (had it for the first time in college) but I can’t get enough. I’ve been to good and bad places, but Taste of India’s lunch buffet does not disappoint!
When we arrived our waiter allowed us to peruse the buffet before being seated which I thought was nice. I must admit that I was not blown away by the size of the buffet but I thought I’d give it a shot since I was new to the area.
I’m glad I did. The buffet didn’t look like much but the food was great! The offerings were smaller batches of food, but it was obvious that everything was made with care. All of the food was hot as well, which is less than I can say for larger buffets. We were served hot, buttery naan throughout our meal and our waiter was very friendly.
Taste of India is a gem.

Had a surprisingly excellent meal here. A good Indian restaurant in Montgomery? Who knew? I have said it before and I’ll say it again — for a city of its size, Atlanta has a shocking dearth of good Indian food. But dare I say I’ve found a solution — one that is a two hour drive?
I had the bullet naan and Chettinad chicken — both were nice and hot and very tasty. My friend had the Chicken Coconut Curry and rice, which he also enjoyed. We both had the green chili pakoras and samosa chaat for the appetizer and everything we ate was very good.
The only thing I disliked was the waiter whose sole responsibility seemed filling our waters and he literally swooped in every time we even took a sip. He must have refilled our glasses about 10 times … during a 45-​minute meal.
