I moved a away several years ago and I came back for a visit and I missed OIPs cheese steak subs. Unfortunately the quality has gone from this place. The sandwich barely had any meat in it and it was dry. Not the sandwich I remembered growing up.

Three of us stopped here for some mid-day motorcycle grub while riding part of the Trans-PA Trail. In other words, we were covered in dust/dirt when we rolled in. We ordered three sandwiches,(italian, turkey, and veg, which wasn’t on the menu but they accommodated for our vegfriend). They didn’t have any bread ready, so they *made bread* while we waited(!) which seemed to just be calzone wrapper, but it worked out well for the sandwiches. And was right out of the oven. An 8−10″(hard to say) sandwich was about 5 bucks, and I added some odd(but good) brand of iced tea for $ 1.50 and a bag of local PA chips for $ 0.25(!). We sat up in the window at the Godfather table, and they brought the sandwiches to us when they were ready. Definitely a great break from the day’s ride. Lots of locals coming and going, and due to other limited options in this little town, it seems to be one of the local food hotspots.
