If I could give this place no stars I would. Service is absolutely the worst. The wait staff knew we were ready to order and it took three times of us asking to get our waiter to come over. The food was not great. Tortilla was hard chicken was cold. Safe your money it was the worst.

We had a large group dinner here because we were staying at the La Torretta Lake Spa and Resort. Service was incredibly slow, granted we did have a table of 8 adults and 8 kids. The red salsa was incredibly salty. The green salsa however was nice and creamy. The food was mediocre. The carne sauce on my tamales was bland. The beef fajitas were tender. The shrimp enchiladas with cream sauce was more of a bechamel and lacked flavor.
The place is large and great for groups, however we wished the food was better.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Food is great. Of great quality. The tortillas taste very home made. A little on the pricey but it’s worth it.

Without a doubt the BEST margaritas on Lake Conroe. The staff is always friendly and genuinely happy to see you. Super enchiladas and don’t miss the the stuffed shrimp appetizer. Hidden in the Western Hills Shopping center… so don’t miss it. Right next to Riverstone Church

I’ve traveled to some of the best places in Mexico and I have always been greeted with a very bright genuine welcome with incredible service. So, once Montgomery opened, I was excited. This town doesn’t give you such incredible options on wine, or bevs, or incredible seafood such as the homemade «Va’por» /​pick the Red Snapper. Amazing. It’s so nice to have a place that out does the care for customers. Mamma. you are alll class, and we always have a great time. See you soon.

Very dry hostess, oddly friendly waitress, TERRIBLE food and cups had a very fragrant soapy taste! Whole restaurant empty and she sat us way off in the back corner behind a little wall… Will not return.

This is located where 7 Leguas used to be in the southwest corner of the Western Hills shopping center. They did a full remodel. There is a completely separate indoor smoking section.
The food is good. The seafood selections seem a tad pricy, but they are larger portions than the other zillion tex-​mex places in the area. They serve chips with a roasted pepper salsa that is rather mild. I don’t care for it but the husband loves it. I do like their salsa verde (green) and you usually have to request it.
We’ve tried most menu items, and enjoyed them all. I really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail after I sent it back to have the shrimp deveined. Sorry, I prefer my shrimp sans excrement. And no they aren’t the tiny salad shrimp. No grief from anyone if you make a substitution. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I didn’t give them 5 stars because they just recently opened and have some kinks to work out with all the new staff, but overall a nice experience and we have been back several times.
