Mel at Sapp Violins has been a terrific help over the years. She has helped us navigate the world of string instruments, moving up to different size instruments; bows, quality strings and more. Mel takes the time to carefully explain to each renter how to care for the instrument and bow. The store stocks and Mel can sell you a small «humidifier» to keep in your case. It’s a great idea to help protect your instrument in cold, dry weather. I would definitely recommend Sapp Violins for string instrument rental and purchase. Part of the rental fee is accrued towards a future purchase, which we appreciated.

An amazing violin maker and repairer. My siblings and I have been here many-​a-​time for a tune-​up or a repair. I have a friend who had him custom-​make her violin.
Friendly and fantastic at what he does. Recommended if you have any sort of string needs.
