I would like to think of myself as a steak taco expert, and with the reviews I thought I’d give the place a try. Unfortunately, the meat on my tacos was not tender(more gristle than anything) and they put the toppings on the side. Save yourself the trip and go across the street to San Marcos-much better service, food and atmosphere!

Tucked away in the back of a Mexican market is a small counter serving the best Mexican food I’ve tasted. A friend from Mexico recommended this place as authentic and I’m very impressed. Fresh and delicious.

This supermarket has a small restaurant in the back where they cook up tortas, tacos, and other food. It’s probably the best and most authentic Mexican you’ll get in Montgomery. Don’t come in expecting a fancy place– there are just a few tables and chairs where you can sit and eat your food. But isn’t there beauty in simplicity? Plus, the food is cheap and the people are nice. I’d definitely recommend stopping in for a couple of tacos and making liberal use of their salsa bar, which is pretty impressive for Montgomery.
