I don’t trust anybody with my hair and what I was looking for in a hairstyle was a big leap of faith. It wasn’t the typical trim and layers, it was a completely different hair style that would change my look. Susanna worked with my hair and did everything and more and I couldn’t be more happy. It’s a small salon with big talent and a lot of professionalism. I am very thankful!

I was married on Saturday and had my hair and make up done along with my two bridesmaids. What a wonderful experience we had. Our hair was done by Susanna! We all looked amazing and our long hair with curls stayed in with our beautiful braids thru out the night. The make up was done by Daisy and after it was done we all felt like movie stars ! We looked so beautiful and the compliments we received validated it

I got my hair done last week by this wonderful lady name daisy. She did an amazing job. The color was dimensional red. Daisy was super nice, she even gave me tips on how to maintain the color and how to style my hair. I would highly recommend to book an appointment with daisy, she put your ideas together and delivers an awesome hair style. I have gotten great compliments on my hair and I’m grateful there is great hairstyles like daisy! One again thanks daisy, I love my hair!

Love this place! I had tried a few places in town but hadn’t found anyone who met my needs so I would drive to my home town to get my hair done until I met DAISY! She is a great listener and just the most amazing hair stylest I have ever met. She totally transformed my hair and honestly made me look several years younger… I was stuck on the same look and she helped me try something new. If your looking for a professional who knows hair and makeup DAISY is your girl! Hands down best in town!!!

Suzanne took care of me and I had to post my gratitude. I have been so buy traveling last month that when I walked out this morning, I didn’t realize how bad my grays were until I was leaving the house to drive here (btw.it’s a 7 hr drive!). & my aunt pointed out how bad the grays were… Too late to take care of it & didn’t want to risk the store bought stuff, as soon as I arrived, I called around but checked Unilocal for recommendations. 3 places I called couldn’t take me… so I tried one more place & Suzanne told me to come in. You see, I don’t need anything else– no drying or styling, just gray coverage.
Suzanne took the time to look through my hair, get the right color, and was up front that she has an appt coming in ½ hr and I would have to wait… No problem. Color was on. I waited while she tended to her appt, then it was time to rinse. I was out by 6pm. Thank you Suzanne… And after I checked in with Unilocal,I got 20% off my hair color.!! Now that’s what I call customer service! If you are in need of some TLC for your hair, book your appointment here. And if you happen to be here on a Tuesday, you’ll be treated to the open market full of local veggies, fruits, and delicious hot meals.

Susanna completely rocked my hair cut! She considered what I wanted, and then gave me an improved version of it. I went from having shoulder length, damaged, and reddish-​brown hair to having a short, blonde asymmetrical bob. I have never loved my hair this much, and I still love it after two weeks. I recommend Susanna to absolutely everyone looking for a new hair style. A little bit pricey but worth every penny!

This is actually my first Unilocal review — so I normally don’t do this type of thing, but Susanna really deserves all the praise in the world. She is wonderful. I moved here last April for the military, and sadly, I’ll be leaving in a few weeks. I was nervous to have someone new do my hair, as I’ve been going to the same girl where I’m from for years. I found this little place with the help of some other Unilocal reviews and tried it out. I couldn’t have been more pleased. I not only love the color Susanna has perfected for me more than my previous color, but my hair has been healthier, I have less split ends, and the way she blends the color is phenomenal. Like I said, I am sad to be leaving, but hopefully this review will help someone else who is in the same position I was a year ago. Susanna took the time to listen to the color I wanted (I have a fabulous red color, but it can’t be too bright/​firery because of the military), and she has nailed it every time. If for some reason you aren’t happy with your color, she is more than understanding and will do everything she can and make whatever accommodations you need to get it right. Again, I just want to say how happy I’ve been with Susanna and this salon. Best of luck to you!

First visit today and I’m very pleased. Susannah gave me a great cut and color, and she was extremely pleasant. She took great care with the color to assure I would receive what I asked for. The salon itself is chic and cozy.

Susanna was great for special occasions. As the mother of the groom my hair was perfect and so was the flower girl.

Susanna is AMAZING! Aside from giving me the perfect cut/​color/​highlights; she actually listens and is a sweetheart! My hair was a bit disastrous, way too many blended colors, split ends and shaggy bangs. Susanna evened out the color, added subtle highlights and gave me the bangs I’ve been trying to describe to stylists for years. SO happy with my hair. I will definitely be going back.
Everyone in Beija Vu is wonderful, such nice employees, but Susanna is definitely my new go-​to stylist.

Chelsea did an outstanding job coloring my hair (high and low lights). She listened very well to what I wanted and gave some suggestions. I love the results! The place is small, but very nice. They offer water or tea upon checking in. The staff is very nice and always smiling so that gives you good vibes. Easy to make an appointment; I think I had to wait only a week. It is pricey, but you will get what you paid for and it is worth it. I moved here to GA and now I can’t find any good place where to get my hair done. Sucks!!!

I am fairly new to the area and have been reading reviews to see which salon to go to for a haircut and gloss and Beija Vu had really good reviews. Now I know why! Chelsea was my hair stylist and she picked out a gorgeous color for the gloss and I love the way she cut my hair! I have really long, straight hair and it was nice to keep some of the length but take some of the weight off and add layers. All in all, I am 100% happy with the service and the atmosphere at Beija Vu! Its small so it feels like you have your own personal stylist and their complete attention. My cut and color was more than I am used to spending but it was worth every penny. I will definitely be a returning customer.
Side note: parking near the salon is 1 hour during the week, so I recommend parking in the garage or there are some 2 hour parking a few blocks away to avoid Monterey’s $ 35 parking tickets :)

It’s such a treat to come and get my hair done at Salon Beija Vu. I have had many haircuts and all kinds of hair color and I have been ecstatic every time. If you get just a haircut, they do an essential oil relaxing scalp massage that is such a nice addition to the service. I always leave feeling like a new me!

I love Salon Beija Vu. Diana really knows how to take a concept and apply it to your hair in the best way possible. I never go in with an exact plan as to what I want to do with my hair, but I always leave with something creative and well crafted.
The Salon itself has really awesome art pieces hanging on the walls, and it has a very fresh look. It reminds of a hair salon you might find in a big city — unique, and artsy.
I cannot end this review without mentioning the best part… essential oil massages. Enough said?
I am pretty picky about who does my hair, and I have visted a lot of salons in Monterey. This one is seriously worth checking out!
