Pizza is awesome, especially the Big Sur. It’s a bit pricy for pizza but oh so worth it!

The pizza was delicious! I ordered half pepperoni and half little Sur(vegetables). It wasn’t salty but tasty with full of flavor and the crust was just right thickness. Totally recommend this place, if you are in the Monterey Bay Area and craving pizza.

service: fast = 1 Star. Ingredients: Fesh(but not cooked)= 1 star. fresh uncooked ingredients does not equal $ 38 for a large pizza. Even though the service was incredibly fast, its not worth the cost… its like a step father x-mas present… a huge let down. Fire truck expected; Sweater received. Nooo thank you! Tomato Carpet pizza.

The high level of personal service was so impressive. Spencer, gave an awesome experience to our kids on a store tour. He was able to reach he 7 – 8 yrs old in a most engaging way. The food is delicious, consistent in quality and service upbeat and professional. We will continue to frequent this PMH for years to come. They are great for delivery too.

Easy in. Easy out. Great pizza at a good price. It’s in a shopping mall so if you get tired spending all your money and get hungry give it a try. It’s worth it.

I was not very impressed with the pizza here, but that probably has something to do with the fact that it is already cooked and then reheated. It’s probably a good place if you’re in a hurry, but it does not match a good fresh pizza hot out of the oven

Best pizza in town(and, some say in the world) as it won an international contest. They also have a very generous rewards program where you get a free soda after 3 slices, a free salad after 6 and a free slice after 9. Rewards all along the way. The staff is always friendly and attentive which is a nice touch. The food is so good, get yourself a slice right now! Best pizza in town.

Wow– worst pizza ever– even worse than Sbarro. Not sure what the good reviews are all about. Worst tomato sauce. Thin crust? Not even close. Cheese_barely any and tastless. a few token sauasage pieces and globs of pesto– yuck!

It would not be right to come here and not have a slice of the pepporoni pizza. The crust is the thin style which is how it should be. The pepporoni is the tasty and i hate to say on the greasy side that makes a slice of pepporoni pizza the best. The parking at this mall can be tricky so expect to get door dings. All and all i will go back for a piece of this good style pizza.

Excellent pizza place; manages to walk the line between fancy-pants California pizza and approachable pies for everyday folk. Pies are pretty expensive, but there’s a lot of value here. Toppings are very generous and high quality. They boast 60 cloves of cooked garlic on their Big Sur for example, and I have no doubt they hit this number handily. The sauce is bright and fresh and not too sweet. The crust a perfect balance of crisp and chewy. The location is pretty neat as well. They have pizza by the slice, or you can order full pies for take out. The setting is relaxed, and not at all pretentious. Outside they have a few giant gas heaters set up for outdoor dining in chilly weather, a really nice touch that we loved taking advantage of. The only downside is that it’s in a crowded mall, so you may have to fight traffic coming and going. Service is really friendly even though they always seem to be busy. When your pizza is ready they will either shout your name or come find you. On a quick trip to the coast I ended up eating here two nights in a row because it was just so dang good.

Don’t even look at the menu and go directly for the Big Sur specialty pizza! It is one of the best pizzas I had, and I promise you it’ll be the same for you. This Bay Area pizza chain is proud of their apparently many awards and accomplishments for their delicious pizzas, and you can really taste why they are so proud from their specialty pizza. Case in point: the Big Sur pizza, named after a nearby coastal town on the PCH! Aside from its splendid sauce and its flavorful pepperoni slices, the biggest winner about Big Sur is the whole garlic roasted to amplify its sweetness while covering the spiciness that often can make it repulsive to some. Overall result is the multitude of flavors that make you look at pizza differently afterwards! It’s that good. My only gripe is that it’s relatively expensive with 12″ costing nearly $ 20, but hey, welcome to the Bay Area! If you are around, definitely do yourself a favor and order yourself a Big Sur pizza. — tl;dr version: 1) BIGSURPIZZA 2) BIGSURPIZZA 3) OMGBIGSURPIZZA

We ordered for pick-up. The big sur. Lots of garlic, which is roasted garlic so sweet and mild, not like eating raw. The pepperoni was a bit spicy which we both liked but too much for my son. Mushrooms seemed fresh. Very thin crust which made eating a little difficult with all the toppings. My son loved that you could see the people throwing/stretching the dough in the store. This was a bit pricey at $ 32. We are not a huge pizza family so this is only the 2nd place we’ve tried here. This one is definitely better than the last. Don’t let the mall location fool you, it’s pretty good.

I saw somewhere that their Big Sur pizza was award winning. Of course that was something to sink our teeth into. We were heading towards Monterey from our day trip from San Fransisco, so we called ahead of time to have it picked up. We were told that it would be ready in 15 – 20 minutes. To feed a party of four we went for the biggest pie, their large 18″. We ordered ½ Big Sur and they other ½ had to be vegetarian, so we chose Pesto. The Big Sur is topped with cloves of garlic, organic tomato pizza sauce, portobello, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and green onions. The good thing about this one is that even though this contained meats, it wasn’t greasy, it wasn’t too spicy but the toppings were put well together it was tasty and yes, the garlics do add a kick of a flavor chaser to it. The Pesto is made with basil, garlic, parmesan and almonds. I’m always a fan of pesto pizza especially when you have the other half of the pie with meats. This one was interesting because the difference was the almonds, and it made it mildly sweet. They really rocked with this one, it was good. The whole pizza was thin crust, which I’m not too much a fan of when sometimes you chose loaded toppings. With the large size they cut them in wider triangular slices. Our half and half order was pricey at $ 32. What I liked here is that they carry dried oregano to sprinkle on your pizza and lemon pepper to add flavor. Also they made our pizza quick and ready. Most of all we enjoyed our pizza, solid four stars!

Went here today on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. Got the pepperoni slice and it was so greasy. The crust is really thin and soaking in grease. This has to be the greasiest slice of pizza I’ve ever had. On the flip side. Service was friendly and fast. Probably won’t be back though
