Jonathon Rovetto, as the Pig Wizard, is the most talented sausage maker I have ever met. The hot Sicilian sausage is my favorite, but they are ALL delicious. I haven’t tried the bacon yet, but will definitely buy some if he has it at the Tuesday Farmer’s market. He buys his pigs from his neighbor, who raises them here locally. He won the best recipe at the Big Sur Chanterelle Festival last year, in competition with the most talented chef’s on the Monterey Peninsula… his dish was chanterelle mushroom sausage… Fantastic! If you get a chance to get down to the Monterey Farmer’s market… be sure to stop by his booth. You won’t be disappointed.

The finest bacon ever. EVER. I used to order bacon shipped from kentucky to get the best but this man makes it better and cheaper. All of the sausages are phenomenal as well.
