Monterey Stone Chapel

We just got married in this chapel and did our family photo shoot our front on the lawn with the gazebo. It is the perfect setting and backdrop for small, intimate weddings. We had this place packed at almot 50 people, yet it was still perfect. The decorations are very nice and the setup is great. I do wish the room was situated to have the isle be in the middle of the room and not on the side. But aside from that, it was a perfect venue. There is also a changing room in the corner that Pat let me use to get into my dress. Pat was very nice and accomodating and she communicated well all the specifics we needed to know. We had our own Officiator but Pat still did a great job in getting us the time slot that we needed for our wedding day and everything.

My husband and I searched for the perfect setting for our quiet, intimate wedding. We knew we wanted redwoods nearby, and we were married right in front of one of the most majestic trees in the area. From the first phone call, Pat was amazing… she worked with us to create a truly special day and really put us at ease before the ceremony. If a huge wedding is not your thing, don’t neglect to give Pat a call. The pricing was incredible for the location, and the versatility of the ceremony made it an easy choice for us!

Was married here this weekend and it was everything I wanted and more, definitely recommend this place.

Funny to write a review about a chapel (I don’t know why, but it is to me), but this little stone chapel is so nice and wonderful. The woman who runs it, Pat, is great; she married my wife and me (apparently her and her daughter do all the ceremonies), and was a joy to have her perform the ceremony. The chapel is small, only 50 people can be seated, but it is very intimate. They (for and extra reasonable charge) will take care of all of the paperwork like the marriage certificate and stuff. Also for an additional cost (i think it was $ 100) she will arrange for a videographer to film your service. Pat has a lot of great advice for how the wedding can go and is open to any suggestions you may have to make your special day truly SPECIAL.
We were so happy and excited to have or wedding here, it was the best day of our lives. We celebrated our marriage at Tarpy’s next door (this was AWESOME too).
