I was recently visiting in Monterey from Nashville, TN and experienced severe lower back pain. After several adjustments by a local Chiropractor, I visited Joy Smith for a 60 minute session before flying home the following day. She was amazing! Even knowing that I am not a repeat customer, she welcomed me warmly and did a wonderful job on my pain wracked body! She is obviously a true caring healer and she even texted me after I got home to check on me. I highly recommend Joy and would definitely see her again if given the opportunity!

I had a 90-​minute session with Joy at a spa-​to-​remain-​unnamed. Having never been massaged by her before, I had no expectations. She was phenomenal. Joy was extremely attentive, working those areas that needed healing the most. At one point (with advanced warning), she even got up on the table to work an area of my back. I cannot recommend her enough. If I ever find myself in the area again, and am looking for a massage, she will absolutely be my first call.

There are plenty of perfunctory massage therapists who are perfectly acceptable. Joy’s healing talents go beyond traditional massage. Having a therapeutic massage with Joy is an exceptional experience.

Joy Smith was my massage therapist for several years prior to her moving to the West Coast. She is the BEST! Although I have visited other masseuses, no one else quite has her magical touch. My first experience with Joy left me so very relaxed & emptied my mind so thoroughly that I got lost on my drive home from her office! After that, I learned to take my time after each session so I wasn’t a danger to myself & others on the road. Her touch is intuitive; her hands are skillful and with little instruction from me, she always found the spot (s) that needed the most attention. I highly recommend you give her a try… you will love her professional mannerism and caring attitude!

It has been our pleasure to have Joy Smith’s masseuse services for almost 3 years now. My husband and I receive at least a monthly massage from Joy. His profession in Dentistry is demanding on his shoulders, neck, and back. Joy has helped him (and our family) stay healthy by receiving regular massages. Joy’s massage techniques are professional, caring, and full of expertise. We can not imagine not having her massages as part of our personal health and well-​being.
