I bought a futon from these folks seven years ago and was happy with it until just recently when the raising and lowering hardware failed. Figuring that after 7 years the parts were no longer available, it was time to buy a new bed. So I returned to the store and was pleasantly surprised, when the sales person Salah, pulled up my account (after 7 years) and volunteered that he could order me the replacement hardware for free.
Can you believe it? Here was an opportunity to sell a new bed and instead, the sales person put service and the store’s reputation first. Based upon their excellent selection of furniture and their obvious commitment to customer service, I would highly recommend this business for your bedding needs.

Excellent experience supporting a local business. Susan, my salesperson was attentive, very thorough in helping make sure I chose the right bed. She even gave me homework to verify once I got home that the size and height were going to be perfect.
Price was fair, no haggling needed and the team was very helpful loading the gear onto my car.
Bed frame is great quality, assembled easily and we’ve been sleeping soundly since. Today I received cash off coupons in the mail with a handwritten thank you note. This will not be my last purchase here and I wholly recommend them. We need more places like this!!!

I love this place! I bought my beautiful dinning table from here for a unbeatable price. Can you believe that! It is solid wood made in Indonesia not china, it has four high stools, great for entertaining! I can’t stress how much I love this table.
The customer service is awesome. The gentleman who help me was very enthusiastic and excited for me which goes a long way in my book. He also showed what could be ordered in his big book of options. They have different wood, colors to fit anyone’s taste.

My husband and I had been searching for a nightstand for a while. On a whim, we topped into Futons & Such. Being located in downtown Monterey, I expected the prices to be higher. We were pleasantly surprised to find quality pieces with reasonable prices. I think we got a steal on a floor model. Susan, who patiently answered all of our questions and showed us other items in their catalog, is simply wonderful. She even had the nightstand wrapped and ready to go so we could drive up to pick it up. John, who rang us up and wrapped the nightstand, is equally pleasant. Great customer service.
Save yourself a trip north to Ikea and stop in!

A fantastic place! I didn’t even realize that futons are actually cool now? The customer service at this place is exceptional! Never pushy, but SO helpful! You can custom order any cushion and my, oh my how far futons have come! You should stop in and check it out!

I went in with my husband in a hurry to buy some furniture for a family member and they were attentive and thorough. I’m waiting for my furniture to arrive, so I’ll update again after it comes, but so far I’m very impressed and would buy furniture here again.
Great stuff for college kids and those on a budget. Very sturdy and not out of control prices.

Overall I think this is a nice store.
Located on Alvarado street, its centrally located downtown and they have a nice selection of futons /​beds that are definately better than the «Wal Mart» variety. Of course, with that comes more expensive.
We were looking for a sturdier futon and were (pleasantly) suprised that they sell each component separately. Once we decided on the futon (offered in three different finishes), we selected on of 3 (or 4) different types of mattresses, and then got to pick from a near-​endless selection of covers. This was a LOT nicer than settling on what you find at the store — and makes future changes (and accessories) a lot easier.
Since they’re smaller, some orders (like ours) have to come in on the truck but it arrived within a week.
While my ordered cover did not arrive on time, they did work with me on a discount for a nicer cover, and they support active duty military members.
Overall good experience.
