$ 40 for a regular smog test, very quick and professional by Blake Ma. Very informative dude, told me to sit back and relax, don’t gotta do anything after the smog Cuz it gets sent in automatically. Good price compared to other places and no wait.

I came in here after getting horrible customer service from a smog check center down the street. The guy there (I think his name is Blake) was super friendly. He was finished inspecting my car in about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get a smog check in the area.

I went here on Sat, I didn’t have to wait any minute to get in.
The owner told me it’s less than 10 minutes to get my car tested.
Freaking awesome… I almost got him 4 stars because he told me I shouldn’t go to grab some breakfast while waiting cuz it’s less than 10 minutes.
This is the first time in my life I want the auto service last more than 15 minutes.
But oh well, I can’t blame him for doing such a good service… And he’s very nice and friendly too. I must not have a heart to give him and his company less than 5 stars!
Definitely gonna come back! Highly recommend!

Good, quick, and straightforward! That’s what I was looking for and found in my search for a smog check! Blake was a cool guy on top of that. There’s a lot of space and parking too as long as other customer cars weren’t there for the repair shop. I’d come back again and recommend it to others as well.

Here right now for a STAR smogcheck. Came here after looking at Unilocal reviews and first off Blake is extremely helpful! Free retest if you fail your smog. Highly knowledgable and he’s on your side.

$ 40 no waiting no muss no fuss. The owner is a Bruin and remembers me from few years ago! That’s good customer service. He was open New Years Eve which helped since I had the day off and didn’t have to take time off another work day to get this state sanctioned extortion scheme done.

My bf and I have been coming here for a few years now.
Service is good. The guy is knowledgeable about cars, and will let you know if he notices any maintenance things that need fixing.
They also retest for free, if you don’t pass. It happened to me. I went home, got my car fixed, and took it back. Second time, she passed!
If you forget some of your paperwork, they can look it up for you, too.

pulled up and the two lazy employees were smoking at a table out front. I asked if they were open and they just nodded with no words…
Skeptical, I said, «I’d like to smog my car warm as this helps with the emissions» and the employee said it won’t work. I said are you gonna smog my car and he shook his head no…
I got in my car and went up the street to another star certified place on alhambra and garfield and got exceptional service and a great deal too.
Seems like a lot of people have been giving them five stars… obvious fake reviews are now more obvious. The other smog place on garfield and alhambra was $ 10 less and took about 10 mins. I can’t imagine that the two smoking goons could even get up that fast.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!
