A nice surprise! My husband was craving Little Caesar’s pizza(eh, he gets like that sometimes) and I was going to just sit in the car and wait for him. But then, I noticed Shirak next door and saw that they had«Fresh Produce» on their marquee. I needed a few things & went in to look around. Wasn’t too impressed with the produce and only picked up some bananas. But what I did find is what will bring me back. Mmmm…Eggplant dip & lavash(brought in from Colorado Bakery. An Armenian bakery whose products I’m familiar with). Picked some up. In the very back, is a deli counter with deli meats, sausages, cheeses, etc. The prices are okay and it’s good to know that I can come here rather than travel further around the area. Too bad I have to watch my glucose levels. There were shelves of Armenian baked goodies that I used to love. On the opposite wall were bins of candy that were also tempting. This is a very small family-run store. The employees were friendly enough. We’re a lavash-loving family and will be back! ++++++++++++ Edited to add: That eggplant dip is really good! Way better than the Trader Joe’s brand I usually buy.
