Henry Acuna Park

I adore this park! Conveniently located next to a library, this park is great for all occasions. I like how there is two parts. One is a playground surrounded by grass and the other is a huge grassy area with a lot of trees. I love walking on the bridge and I hope they never tear it down! This park is clean and well managed. I always come here to relax or have a simple picnic.

I really enjoy the city of Montebello and when it comes to parks this is one of the best parks they have apart from Grant Rea park. This park is located around a residential area, right across from the park resides Montebello Police Dept. Montebello library. Henry Acuna Park might not be big, but it sure is very welcoming. Every time i go is always clean, not overly crowded like other parks, it has nice shaded areas, tables for picnics, playground for the kids, restrooms are clean compared to other public restrooms, they have a soda bending machine. Great park to relax, walk around or jog a few laps around.

This is a really nice park. It seems to have been around for awhile because of all of the big trees which offer lots of shade. My kids loved the playground. Lots of picnic tables and clean bathrooms.

Honestly, this park isn’t too bad of a park! It’s pretty calm and peaceful on the side right across the street from the library. Lots of open space for dogs or to play field games on. I used to come here with my dad and brother to hit a softball around when I was little. You’ll see some picnics going on too.
The other side of the park is nice too with a playground thing for kids. Probably for 3+ kids as it’s a rather tall jungle gym thing. Swings for the tiny tikes I guess.

Henry Acuna Park is as good as it gets, given the demographics of the area.
Early weekday mornings, the park is filled with seniors getting their tai chi on. Afternoons have a consistent balance of babysitters and teen romance in full bloom. Early evenings are the best for pet lovers, it is when all the 9−5ers bring out their small dogs. Puppy socializing time.

Montebello is really lucky to have this park. A very clean park too!
There is a little playground area they newly built for kids. There is an open space if you want to start a soccer game. Then there is a nice little place with trees to sit back and relax. There is also a large flat space that is pretty well hidden on the side of the park facing Maple Street.
One of Montebello’s gems for sure.
No smoking here though. Everyone does it though.
