Awful customer service. Went to the front desk to ask if they had a specific shoe, they ignored me. Stood there for a few minutes before even saying anything. When I finally asked the guy didn’t look up the shoe or give me an alternative. Called another store and they didn’t have it, but they offered to fit for it. Now I see why this places reviews are so bad. Wouldn’t advise coming here unless you’re a masochist in hopes of being ignored and returning home with no shoes

Wow did I have an experience in this montebello Location. The associate named Alberto was just a tad bit rude. After speaking to him I asked to speak to his manager and he said, «What for? She’s just going to tell you the same thing?» So after asking him to ask her for assistance with the dirty shoe I was trying to purchase. I finally got to speak to her and in the middle of our conversation she decides to answer the phone? WOW! I was so shocked! I think her name was Edith. Edith shouldn’t be the assistant manager, She should just be the ASS manager because she just made an ass out of herself. So after all this drama I was helped by 2 wonderful people named James and Valerie. Valerie is a rockstar from her great customer service. So i kind of want to give this store a 3 because of Valerie. She should be the MANAGER. she is great with customers and great Product Knowledge. Edith showed her immaturity and now i see where alberto gets it from.

I LOVE finish line! I shop at different ones, I will give all of them 5 stars except for this one! Their service was absolutely horrible! And I’m not usually one to complain. The manager seamed bothered when I asked him for a shoe for my kid. And then he shoved the shoe box at me, I never got asked if the shoe fit or anything. So ofcoarse I left. I pay good money for shoes, I think I deserve good customer service as well.

Bought an item online with my mom. Confirmed the order over the phone with customer service, I even asked ahead of time if it would be okay that I pickup the order even though my mom is the one who paid. They said sure, show your ID(which has the same address) and show them your email, and confirm the order #. I show up, they don’t let me pick up. I took off my lunch hour at work to pick up these shoes that seem to be out of stock everywhere else. Wasted an entire lunch hour, gas and a trip to a mall to get NOTHING. I call their customer service line and they seem surprised that the store won’t release the order to me even though I verified all the information I could. Their customer service then calls the store to verify the issue. They tell me that the guy who works there will let me have the order if I show my moms ID. Well WTF, I told you I could do that when I was there. Never coming here again. Seems their customer service on the phone isn’t in line with their staff in store. Not sure where the disconnect is, but buying this stupid shoe online has now become a huge inconvenience and hassle. What the heck was the point of sending the order to the store if it was going to be this difficult. SOWARNINGTOYOUALL, THEREISNONOTESECTIONTOPUTWHOISPICKINGUPTHEORDER. The Finish Line at the Shops of Montebello is relatively small. They don’t seem to have as grand a selection as other athletic shoe stores in the mall. But what they do have is some killer deals. I will usually find a pair of shoes here for $ 5-$ 10 cheaper than the other places. I have also found awesome shoes in the clearance section here. I recently acquired a pair of purple and gold Nike Free Runs for $ 49.98. I have«Lakers» shoes! And really, purple and gold shoes? Being a Laker fan would be the only reason someone in their right mind would buy a pair of shoes with that color combination. But also, those in the know, know that Free Runs start at $ 90. The other thing I like about this place is that their membership rewards card is free. And it won’t get rid of you after 3 months of inactivity, unlike other stores. *whispering* Footlocker. I don’t buy shoes all that often, but when I do, I usually swing by here first and do a price check.

DISLIKES: — rude — LAZYYYYYWORKERS — bad customer service — they dont even greet you — my first time at this Finish Line is one to remember because it was horrible — this guy told me they had the item I wanted in the back but just take a look at the display item first. BUT he didn’t even take it down for my little sister to check it out. Are you hired to turn customers away or help them? These employees say a lot about what kind of manager they have. — completely lazy ass people, never coming back here again.

Very rude! Bad customer sevice. All I had was a few questions about the jordan 5 release for Saturday January 26,2013. The manager Robert refused to answer my questions. He simply replied«I don’t know google it or something» then hangs up on me. He then refuses to answer when I called back. If it wasn’t for us customers you wouldn’t have a job! If you don’t like working with people or dealing with customers find another job!!!

This is one of the smaller Finish line i have been to(comparing to the one at Cerritos mall), I stopped by here because Footlocker didn’t have the Elite socks in my size so I stopped by here to see if they had it. At a first glance I couldn’t locate it. I thought this store only sales shoes since I didn’t see big selection of clothing and accessories. After I look around I saw the Elite socks that I wanted. All the way in the back by the cashier… since I already bought shoes from Footlocker… just got the socks and left. None of the associates that work there asked me if I needed any assistance at all. So Finish Line, I give you 3 staRs because you actually have the Elite socks in stock! =)

Smaller selection than other Finish Lines. The walls weren’t even complete; no dry walls. The sales rep was really nice and helped get the shoes I wanted. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to purchase my running shoes but there is a coupon currently available online and for in-store use. Valid until October 26, 2011 for $ 10 off $ 60 or $ 20 off $ 100. Overall, decent customer service and I would come back again if I was in the area.
