This is a nice small Italian butcher and deli. They make some foods to go, and whenever we’ve picked one up its been good. You can also get chips and the like here to go with your sandwich. Street parking.

Freshest ingredients. The meatballs are the legit veal and pork old timey, real things. The roasted peppers and mozzarella breaded chicken cutlet sandwiches come on the freshest, most billowy and perfect loaves of bread. The Manhattan Soda and various drinks compliment the best sandwich you can get this side of Watchung Ave.

Order for lunch today with them. When I called to place the order the lady had a attitude. Asked her to put it on a credit card and she told me to bring it on and hung up.(Little did she know it wasn’t my credit card my boss was paying for lunch) Ordered the Michelle special. Chicken was dry, barely any bruschetta and there was a super thin slice of mozzarella. My boss order the Brooklyn special and she also didn’t like it. We both won’t be ordering from there again

I’ve been shopping here for years & I can say for sure it’s a great Italian deli/butcher shop. The place is clean & packed with Italian specialties– and their food is phenomenal! Best handmade mozzarella for miles & entrees that you would proudly pass off as your own. Eggplant, chicken, fresh meat & a wide variety of hot & cold sandwiches to pick from. The service is friendly & Rosario himself is on hand to answer any questions.

Great Italian specialty market. One of the only delis around that offer organic meats on the daily. Hands-down they have the absolute best chicken soup, ever. If you’re not feeling well, picking some up is a no-brainer. Rosario is a very nice man that cares about his quality. Only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the prices. They’re steep but knowing the area, I’m not surprised.

This place is great. Their eggplant lasagna is a must try. They have the best mozzarella cheese. Their bread is awesome as well. They have a lot of good Italian snacks and great prepared foods. Their meat is not too expensive and it’s clean of fat and blood spots. I will come here from now on to get chicken.

One of my favorite places in Montclair. The food is excellent and the people are great. Their chicken parm sub is outrageously good. The produce is expensive but all extremely fresh. Pre-made food is good too. Only gripe is that the location is tight inside and their’s nowhere to eat, otherwise, this place is perfect.

This is a wonderful place. Ostensibly a butcher shop, but so much more. Great prepared foods, bread, cold cuts, pastas and hard-to-find Italian cookies, coffee, etc. This place is the real deal…

RIM stands out on a block covered in Deli’s and Café’s. My go to lunch is my own creation… Ham, Fresh Mozz, fried eggplant and spicy gabagool on a hero or club roll. I like spicy brown mustard to top it off. Needless to say, 1 of those every couple of weeks is all you need! Haven’t been in over there in a while and that will need to change.

This guy is somewhat like Seinfeld’s «Soup Nazi». Amazing butcher, you should ask Rosario himself what’s good that day. We’ve had steaks, lamb chops, pork chops and each one has been seriously succulent! They also have a ton of pastas and European products. This place is top notch!

Don’t worry about getting to Arthur Avenue or Brooklyn. We have it all here. Rosario and his crew will amaze you with the quality of product. A wonderful find here in Montclair. While it is a little pricey, it is well worth it. Meat is top quality and prepared foods always fresh and delicious. Michelle and Rosario are providing a great service for foodies in the hood.

My favorite food store in Montclair. Great Italian products and amazing sandwiches, although I can’t get away from the #9 long enough to try anything else its so good. Plus Rosario is the best butcher around. The mozzarella and all the prepared items can’t be beat. Service is top notch.

I heard about the mozz and had to try it. I like the place and will go back to try other items but the mozz was not as good as Belgiovine Deli on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair. It was good but not as good. I want to go back and try their sausage. their meats looked great.

Rosario and his crew are true deli craftsman. They take more care making a Chicken Parmesan sandwich than many restaurants making expensive entrees. The bread, meats, cheeses, and various Italian things for sale in the shop are first-rate, and Rosario is a charming and likeable guy. At the peak of lunch hour or on a Sunday you might have to wait a bit because the staff here takes care with their work and Rosario loves to chat everyone up, but this is the best spot around for lunch or to pick up dinner fixings for the family. Personally, I love the Chicken Parm but the«Classico» is a great choice if you like salami and ham.

The sandwiches are divine — the mozzarella is amazing. The bread, homemade pastas, rollatinis… all really, really yummy. I’m so glad this place is on the way to pick up my kid! By walking to get him, I can work off a couple of the calories I pick up for lunch. The prices are more than you’ll get across the Plaza, but it’s worth it every once in a while. I mean, if you can afford to get a sandwich every day, make it a good one. Me, I’ll have PB&J for a few days and then get the eggplant, mozzarella, basil and tomato on a WW roll to make up for it. Mmmmmm. I think tomorrow might be that day. Oh! I’ve also been eyeing the homemade desserts in the refrigerated section. They look so good.

Hands down — best mozzarella in Montclair! Organic chicken breasts are very lean and cheaper than Whole Foods! Bread baguettes — yum! We even get our deli meat here… I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews of this place! Plus the owner is an all-around good guy who greets you every time!

This is supposed to be a very good butcher — that I don’t know. But what I do know is that the fresh mozzarella I got from here was delicious. It reminded me a lot of Fiore’s in Hoboken. Which is better? I think Fiore’s edges these guys out, but I’ll be back. Yes I will. The shop has a small selection of Italian specialties and baked goods.
