Customer service sucks! We had to seat ourselves.. waitress took 10 min to bring me a straw. My mom asked for water the waitress literally brought it when my mom was done with her food. A FUCKINJOKE! Food was a HUGE disappointment. Dirty floors and tables with left over food for 20 min or more when there’s only 6 tables occupied. MY cocktail had more tomatoes than shrimp. NEVERCOMINGBACK.

Waitress was friendly but the food was just not good. We ordered four items and unfortunately nothing was worth coming back. 1. The shrimp tacos were a freaking joke 3 small shrimps on a cold hard tortilla. 2. Tostada de ceviche was just not what I expected(taste wise) didn’t make any of us want more of it. 3. Campechana was missing a lot of ingredients, my BF was immediately over it 4. Cocktail de Camaron was just lacking taste oh and SHRIMP . We were leaving as the Banda started playing which is good because it’s really loud.

Little hole in the wall spot I’ve probably drove by it a million times and never even knew it was there but I had a craving for marisco and wanted to try a new spot and my sister recommended this place at her go to spot. Was greeted with a basket of crackers, tostadas and sliced limes My service started off really great but lacked a little towards the end imma let it slide though just because she was busting 4 tables at once and she had a smile on the whole time plus with out asking put crackers and napkins in my to go box Price wise it’s fair but for the ammount of food you get it’s more of a deal than anything The vibe in here is very chill and inviting there’s a jukebox playing spanish music adding to your experience plus a mini banda that walks around for song request But lets get to the food it’s fresh delicious and portion sizes are huge my molcajete was beyond hooked up if you’re a seafood lover I highly recommend this place

I freaken love this place. For one they serve bomb or really good ceviche. Fish ceviche to be exact, Tilapia fish ceviche to be even more exact, not that cheaper Basa relative to the cat fish crap. I’m going to bring everyone I know. I ate 4 tostadas de ceviche & had two cold coronas. Delicioso = Delicious. The customer service is really good, the girl attending me was superb, and accommodating. I didn’t want to sit were the jut box was so she sat me in the farthest corner of the place. Witch has allot of seating. I’ll definitely be back numerous times. I live nearby but it’s worth a drive I would definitely take for this spot.

This place is all about the food, if you want real Ceviche de Camerón and Pescado, Campechana, Marlin Tacos, Oysters, etc. at a fair price then you have to try this place out. Staff is friendly and will give you recommendations if you’re new to real authentic south of the border style seafood. This place is one of my favorite spots for seafood in the area because it’s reasonable, tastes great and it has that local dive spot feel to it. You walk in, sit down waitress gets you a menu, you order beers and some ceviche or tacos, doctor them up and enjoy, nothing is pretentious or commercial. If you want décor, ambiance and high dollar restaurant service, this isn’t the place for you, if that’s a sticking point for you go to Senór Baja or Red Lobster, but if you’re all about the food look no further. Personally, I’d give this place 4 ½ stars, it’s one of the better spots in the area, but it does have a cafeteria vibe w/plastic tables that some people are just not going to get past, so this spot will never be immune from the occasional bad review but for what it’s worth my wife and I think the food here is unbelievably good, so we’d say give it a try…

Service and food are excellent! Me and my hunny go here about 3 times a month for the ceviche de camaron tostadas… They’re the best we can find in the area. Although, this place is overwhelmingly grimy, the employees do not clean clean well, and the ones I see trying to clean look very upset.

Micheladas suck! They tasted as if they opened a can up of the premixed budweiser cans and served it. Not good at all. And the shrimp cocktail lacked flavor. I got the campechana. We ordered a dozen oysters which were on the small side and not too fresh. The fish tacos were okay. Tostadas de ceviche shrimp and fish were the only good thing. The service could really use some help. The service needs lots of improvement.

The five stars is for the bomb ass micheladas and fish tacos. As far as customer service, that deserves one star. We had to get up and walk to the waitress when we needed to order because she never came back after bringing our drinks. Great food, bad service.

The plate that I ordered was way too small for the price. Four shrimps wrapped in bacon 12 bucks. It didn’t even come beans, what they don’t have beans in Sinaloa. Just scoop of white rice wow. Being still hungry I ordered a tostada of ceviche. It tasted old not fresh. The service was bad never really bothered to come around. No I didn’t need anything else? Oh well I’ll have to find another place to go to.

Got here and wasn’t even greeted, we had to seat ourselves. The waitress we had was a bitch(excuse my language) she had a little attitude, like no ones forcing you to be here. Shittt! She only asked us if everything was ok once. And to top it off when she bearly came to our table she didn’t say hi how r u hi nothing just«what do u want to drink» did we tip her? Helll nah! The coctel de Camaron tasted like they wash them and just throw em in water and hand u the cup there was no taste just water we had to put about eleven lemons and a whole lot of ketchup and tapitio for it to taste a tad bit beter. The tostadas de ceviche were alright, I thought they were good until I came home and had to throw up. Overall it sucked I was sad cuz so many people hype it up. But I am defintly never coming back

We’ve been in this area for about three years now, and have been looking for Mariscos a little more close to home since any time we need to tend to our Mariscos cravings, we go to our favorite spot in Irwindale. First of all, you would never know this place is here, because its kind of hidden, right there in the open if that makes sense. Located on the corner of Holt Blvd and Ramona Ave in a shopping center across from the CVS and Jack N the Box, Mariscos Licensiados are done Sinaloa style. I am torn between this place because the food was pretty good, but service was questionable. Had it not been for the older lady whom I’m assuming might be the owner filling in for the younger waitress while she went to run an errand, this place would have have less stars. First of all, our young waitress had a somewhat sharp tone when speaking. Maybe she didn’t mean to come off that way, but she seemed rude. The snapping of her bubble gum didn’t help much either. Moving on to the food: CAMPECHANA($ 11.50) — This cocktail is SUPPOSED to have shrimp, octopus, abalone, and oysters, and ours had a decent amount of shrimp and octopus, but the abalone and oysters were MIA. The cocktails juices were very tasty however, and the cucumber and other vegetables were cut up small enough to taste and didn’t overpower the seafood. So to be honest, I’m not sure if they messed up our order on this one but because the flavors melded so perfectly, I’m willing to let it slide. TOSTADASDECEVICHE($ 2) — Reasonably priced, we tried both the shrimp and fish ceviches. Hands down, fish won. We are not sure if we had a bad lime or two, but the shrimp ceviche simply wasn’t as tasty as the fish. You couldn’t really see the shrimp in the shrimp ceviche, but the fish in the fish ceviche however was cut up into teeny tiny bite size morsels of flavor. A little Tapatio is all they needed. Portion wise, there could have been a little more on their tostadas, but then again when you are used to getting over sized everything, they looked a little on the smaller side. FILETEDEPESCADO($ 11.50) — simple white fish with a little salt and pepper, grilled. Nothing fancy, not a whole lot of flavor going on, but with a little lime and chile it wasn’t too bad. Came with rice, which was made with chicken stock and some corn kernels, and a salad consisting of cucumber, iceberg lettuce and tomato. Probably wouldn’t get it again for me, but my 6 year old son liked it, so if he wanted it, I’d probably get it again, TACOSDEPESCADO($ 2.50) — they looked good, but can’t really say too much about them because the kids didn’t let me taste them! They looked lightly breaded, but since the kids ate them plain, I have nothing to go off of. Overall, the experience was okay because the food and the older lady made up for the iffy experience with the waitress. A couple of things I should mention is: (1) the inner décor is not that great, so if you are into that type of thing, this isn’t the place for you. To put it bluntly, I have eaten in «nicer» places in Tijuana, but since I don’t care about stuff like that it doesn’t matter to me. However, the folding tables and folding chairs might be off putting to those that do care, (2) my wife had asked for water and the younger, ruder waitress had told her that they didn’t have any water, not even tap, but when we were leaving, I clearly saw waters in their refrigerator. (3) They have a decent selection of Mexican beers, which a sign says are 2 for 1 on Friday’s between 4 pm and 6 pm. (4) Soda wise, they didn’t have fountain drinks, but did have the ½ liter Mexican cokes in the glass bottle, cans of Coke and Squirt and bottles of selected Jarritos brand soda. I think I might give this place another chance just to see what the service is like on another day.
