La Belle Vie Salon and Spa

I’ve been going to this salon for years and they are consistently great! The staff is warm and inviting and every service from hair to facials is amazing! I love this place!

Nonna is amazing! I’ve been hearing about her for years through clients and friends. I had my first facial today and she more than lived up to my expectations. She was gracious, professional and genuinely nice. The facial was the best I’ve ever had. Her technique and touch is flawless. I felt refreshed and relaxed. I will most definitely be returning.

I hate to write a bad review because I know it can hurt a small business but I really had a bad experience. I paid over $ 300 for a hair coloring service to have more blonde in my hair. My hair turned out orange and looked like I did it myself. After calling and feeling embarrassed for having to complain the salon took me back to correct the color. The stylist finally admitted it came out orange and not blonde. After she re bleached my hair it completely damaged it. I just had to cut 5 inches off and have had lots of trouble with my hair since. It has never been damaged like this before. So I paid well over $ 300, sat in the salon for over 6 hours and think I need to chop it all off to get healthy hair again. They really should have refunded me but I’m sure that’s the last thing the salon owner wanted to do.

This salon is a great place! The staff are very friendly and professional. Joanne is a wonderful stylist. She does a fabulous job with your hair! The owner Nona is very warming and caring! I highly recommend this place for everyone. They do great with Hair color, Facials & Waxing!!! They also have great products which the one I love is called Arrojo… amazing!!!

The best salon in the area – that you might not notice when you drive around Watchung Plaza. Not only is the ambience mellow and friendly, the place spotless, but the talent is amazing! I used to get my hair done in the city – now I go to Joanne. She styles and colors my hair to perfection! Plus they sell products I never heard of until I started going – Arrojo. Fabulous!!! My hair has finally found a home.

Nonna is incredible! She happily stayed late on a Sunday to fit me in for a Brazilian bikini wax and was open, happy, and friendly. The time went by so fast with her stories and personable conversation, and the wax was very clean, thorough and virtually painless.
If you’re looking for a salon, this is the place to go. It’s trendy and spotless and the staff does amazing work! AMAZING!

I feel like I found a gem! Nonna and the staff of La Belle Vie are amazing! This is really the best place for waxing – I have been getting a bikini wax from Nonna for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier with her service! She is so warm and friendly and makes you feel at home in her salon. I’ve also had my hair blown out for special occasions by Sabrina and she’s fantastic! I’m there every three weeks or thereabouts.
