I started coming to Arthur Murray Montclair about 3 weeks ago. I don’t even know where to start on the compliments about this place. The owner is sweet, friendly, and makes it a point to converse with new students. Art, my instructor, is fantastic. He’s patient and funny, which makes the awkward feeling of learning something new so much easier to deal with. The studio is beautiful, the staff is friendly (they all say hello and goodbye every time I’m there), and most of all: learning to dance there has added to the quality and happiness of my life!

My Maid of Honor bought my fiancé and I 2 private lessons at Arthur Murray because lord knows my fiancé needs help in the dancing department. Catherine whom I’ve spoke with on several occasions over the phone is very sweet and very accommodating.
We were set up with Marissa who was very patient and a great instructor. Tom who is the manager also stepped in to watch us and help us out. They were able to somewhat give my fiancé a sense of rhythm and timing by explaining and demonstrating in a way that made sense to him. We just need to practice and I think we’ll be okay.
Going back next week for another lesson to try to incorporate some turns smoothly into our 2-​step. Wish us luck!

My daughter gave me the 1st introductory lessons as a birthday gift. We used the gift certificate and came back for more lessons. We have come a long way. since we did not know a single thing about dancing. Now we can hit the dance floor with confidence. All the instructors are great. Easy to learn from them and fun. Kenneth, Tom, and Katherine are the greatest! and so are the others!

Took the intro lesson with Kenneth, went awesome. He taught us the basics, and he even gave us a few easy steps to try next time we hit the dance floor. Definitely coming back and taking the extended courses.
Like the flexibility, they have both set dates for dance courses or you can set your own schedule for private or couple lessons. Good place to go for a 1st date!

Was able to see a glimpse today of how they can transform a non-​dancer into a dancer in a matter of a few sessions.
Dance is an exciting way to exercise and stay healthy.
If I was going to take dancing lessons again, it would be here. The studio is comfortable and clean with very competent dance instructors.
I would trust Arthur Murray instructors to teach me.

No one in my family is a dancer, but for some strange reason my 78 year old father took it up. He has been dancing here with Kathryn for about 2 years now and says he feels better than ever! They seem to really take good care of them.

Quick update! Last night at Big Band Night over at the Candlelight Pavilion we ran into our old friends at Arthur Murray — Art and Anthony! So good to see them again! We talked about our issue, and they are more than willing to work with us. Thanks guys! We so appreciate that! We plan to come back, hopefully sooner rather than later!
