Hither Hills State Park

Family has been going here since the 1940’s…only gripe is the prices they charge in the general store and the people that worked there this past summer. I made a comment to my aunt regarding the syrup costing nearly $ 5 — it was srtop and shop brand — and how insane it was to be paying that. The older woman behind the counter heard me and shot comment back with an attitude «honey, we don’t charge anymore than the food store so I don’t know what your’re complaining about». I replied back with «don’t call me honey. I wasn’t speaking to you and lastly, this is stop and shop brand, see the symbol it doesn’t cost more than $ 2.00». I would have complained but it would have been worthless. Hopefully next year they have better people.
