What a darling little gift shop and Rowena is just a peach! Wandered in after a movie and loved her the line of scented lotions and lip balms she carries. Also some very cool jewelry made by local artists. The clothes are very chic and trendy! Cute little place!

First time here and the lady behind the counter was SO helpful! I’m sad I didn’t get her name because I want to call her out on how super awesome she was!
I came here with a friend in search of some Tokyo Milk lip balms. Was pleasantly surprised to find out they carry Love & Toast as well! AND they had my favorite hand cream by them!!! We browsed around the store for probably 30 minutes or so, smelling everything of course. The saleswoman was super knowledgeable about all the different lotions, lip balms and perfumes, and even helped us pick out a couple of scents that we really liked.
She also didn’t try to oversell which I super appreciated. She suggested the smaller bottle of the large item, noting that it was much cheaper and not to worry because it lasted a long time. I didn’t feel pressured to ever purchase anything other than what I came for, which is rare in a small store like that. She was incredibly helpful without hovering or hinting for us to buy, which in turn made me buy something (of course).
Thanks to her I now have a new fragrance I love! So thank you thank you thank you and I will be back!!!

I love Jennie B. The prices can be a bit more expensive for non sale items, prices that I can’t afford at the mo, but I go to the 75% rack and I’ve found two dresses and I love them. The owner is a lovely woman with a cute daughter who apparently loves Sailor Moon. I just met her husband and they seem like a really nice couple. I’m going to keep going back — and maybe someday I won’t be looking at the clearance rack because the dresses there are great and so is the quality of the material. And there are plenty of unique items.

Jenni B. is a little gem in Monrovia. Rowena, the shop’s owner, is friendly, helpful and so kind. She is sincere, and she makes you feel welcome, no matter what your budget.
The boutique offers a wide array of chic clothing and beautiful accessories. The price-​point, while high, is on par with the quality of the items and the designers that the store features. It’s unfair to compare Jenni B’s merchandise to stores that market cheaply priced items. The stores that offer trendy clothing for eye-​poppingly low retail prices generally don’t use high quality fabric, nor do they manufacture their clothes in countries that pay fair wages to their employees, or pay benefits to them.
Jenni B. has a lot of completely covetable jewelry from local artists, much of it in sterling silver, with real semi-​precious gemstones. I also love the line of vegan bags the store has been carrying lately (I forgot the brand).
Some great deals can be had at the 75% off rack, if you’re lucky enough to find what you want and have one of the few remaining sizes fit you.

The clothes are over-​priced. The owner is pushy.
But the store is good for 3 things —
(1) buying handmade jewelry
(2) buying things off the 75% off rack
(3) trying on clothes that you can then purchase on the internet for less. (Go to Revolve (and use their 15% off coupons), go to Joy Han’s website, Free People’s website, etc.)

Jenni B. is an adorable hidden boutique in Old Town Monrovia. They always have unique, beautiful, special-​occasion dresses and tops, with perfect handbags to go with. I have found perfume for my mom, and fabulous one-​of-​a-​kind jewelry from local designers.
I have been shopping at Jenni B. since I was in high school, when my friends would stop by on our way to the movies because we wanted to get a closer look at the colorful dresses in the window.
The owner, Rowena, is personable and friendly to every single customer. She’s never too busy to spend quality time with anybody, (even high school kids) and is great at picking out items in the shop that are perfect for you. Once, when I found a dress I loved, they were out of my size so she ordered it just for me. If you’re just in the mood to window shop, she’ll chat with you about what movie or restaurant you’re on the way to, and never pushes you into a purchase. Her adorable toddler daughter, Ava, sweetly greets customers and makes everyone smile. In January when I was in, she told me, «Happy New You!»
Jenni B. has a range of prices– and like the comment before me said, this isn’t SUO. They actually have AG jeans, Voom dresses and jewelry made with sapphires, blue topaz, and tourmaline. But there are always fun jewelry and gift options under $ 10. And I’ve found a few great tops in the sale rack for 75% off. I’d rather shop here and support a local business than just go the mall anyday.

Jenni B is awesome but not to be compared with SUO. JB is high end and luxurious. The staff is friendly but not pushy. Things are pricey but beeeautiful. Very special items too, if you shop in Pasadena or the Valley or The Hills, you still will find unique, fresh things in this little gem of a store.

My wife shops at Jenny B all the time, and I’ve shopped here many times for gifts for my wife.
As a disclaimer, I know very little about fashion and tend to be what many people would call «cheap». However, I do know a quality store when I’m in one, and I know quality customer service when I receive it. And given that I’m a naturally «cheap» person, I also know good value when I see it. Jenny B’s stock is of the highest quality, the service is amazing, and the value is great.
The owner of Jennie B and everyone who works there has always given me great service, and my wife has lots of great quality clothes for perfectly reasonable prices from this store.
One other quick note on something I do know about: numbers. Comparing one dress between two stores hardly gives an accurate picture of a store’s overall price value. If you look at a several clothing items from several stores and compare their price and quality, then you’ll have an accurate picture. And trust me, I have plenty of data in this area! and Jenny B rates as one of the best!

I normally love boutiques — I love how I can find things that are unique and fashionable with top notch service. But Jenni B — I’m not too sure about. I personally haven’t bought anything from Jenni B in about 2 years! Their pretty extensive collection of clothes is the main reason I keep coming back, but their prices is what keeps me away from the cash register.
I bought this dress from another local boutique-​y type store name Suo for $ 34, I went to Jenni B, where they had the same exact dress for $ 78! If that isn’t a mark up, I really don’t know what is!
I find it discouraging to buy something from somewhere, where just walking out, you know that you’re being ripped off. If you don’t mind the feeling and apparently hate having money, then I suggest you come here for all your fashion needs — their stuff is really cute and the owner is the sweetest girl ever.
