Officemax

This is my local office supply store. It’s a gotta-​go kind of place — not a hooray-let’s-go kind of place.
Selection is always good. Staff is always helpful and gets you moving as quickly as you are inclined to move through the store.

This was my second visit in the past few months. Had a return without my receipt. Was very apprehensive. Cashier Desmond pulled up my transaction immediately, processed my return, and when I gathered up the correct products, he rang me up.
Fast. Professional. Offered suggestions, like the fact that Office Max provides rewards for recycling ink cartridges with them. (HP gives nothing for recycling)
Store is clean, neat, well-​organized with fast checkout.
There are many sources for tech and office supplies. After two perfect visits to Office Max, I won’t even look anywhere else. Why? Everyone prices things the same. The difference at Office Max is the service. People. They have some of the best.

I bought a new laser printer in spite of the terrible salesman and cashier. The salesman made me feel like I was bother to him after I looked for anybody who can help me. When I didn’t bite for the extended warranty he was sure to tell the cashier in a disgusted voice to be sure he marked that the warranty was discussed with the customers and he declined. The sales price was exactly the same as the price on Amazon… and Amazon shipped for free. I think I won’t be shopping there again. By the way, I had a similar experience about a year ago when I bought a new computer. Should have learned my lesson.
