I love this place! My first time visiting(Jan 2015) the Vineyard wasn’t as Green and lush. Tours are $ 6, and you receive a free signature wine glass. It’s located in small neighborhood, sometimes your GPS won’t find it lol. My friend got lost lol… There is no café/restaurant, so bring your own snacks or purchase a few in the shop. I took another trip yesterday(October is the PERFECT time to go) Considering all the rain we got, I’m surprised the weather was so perfect… We started with a tasting, then walked out into the Vineyard… The weather was PERFECT!!! Clear blue skys and. Green grass! Loved it. I still need to see the treehouses!!! You can actually reserve them. Couples of side notes: They can ship wine to certain states for $ 16-$ 20. Which is Awesome… I wanted to send my future«in-laws» a few bottles in Indiana… They will love the slushy Kit. Try the WinoRita. You won’t be disappointed Groupon: I didn’t know until the LASTMINUTE. You get a free bottle of wine… sayyy whatttt #Wino Live music on the weekends… Go!!! Take some food.

Big fan of Treehouse. Great muscadine wines, live outdoor music, great venue to relax after a hard week with friends and colleagues. Do not miss the Israel museum inside either!

The experience was lovely… Except for the room that was set up like a museum of the persecution of Jews. I understand it is a family run business, and they have the right to display anything they like, however when we arrived we were very put off and surprised by this entire room dedicated to the religious war Jews have had thrust upon them by other cultures. We were there to celebrate a special occasion, and the photos of Jews being marched to Auschwitz and the list of «Jewish vs Muslim Nobel Prize Winners» made us feel very uncomfortable. I’m not saying they shouldn’t display their heritage, but they should DEFINITELY post a warning on their site to let the public know that they are displaying possibly controversial images. The fact that there is no reference to this display on their site makes me feel like they are trying to bombard us with their politics. I won’t go there again, simply because I feel they aren’t being honest in their advertisements… which is a shame, because the treehouse was lovely and the staff seemed knowledgable and courteous.

We enjoyed our visit to the winery. Tranquil outdoor facilities, good wine with friendly employees made our day. It was a surprise to find this beautiful place in the city of Monroe. We will return and bring family and friends.

My girlfriend’s & I had no idea what to expect upon purchasing the groupon for this vineyard. We became nervous as we drove through the somewhat sketchy neighborhood & the gps said destination on right. When we turned right we were relieved to see the vineyard, & famous treehouse. On Saturday the tastings are every hour on the hour, & you sign up in the gift shop. We were early so we enjoyed the beautiful scenery as well as the food truck service. The tasting also gives you the history of the vineyard. The staff were all really pleasant, and I loved all the dogs roaming around. I will definitely be back.

Ultimately, we had a great time! During the drive to Monroe from Charlotte, I thought my GPS was leading me to the middle of no where. Once we arrived the scenery was definitely worth the 45 min drive. I do wish I would’ve arrived a few minutes earlier to enjoy the sights a little more but maybe next time. Now, as to why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 stars. Customer service is extremely important and although Jeannie(unsure of spelling) and the other staff members provided great customer service and were attentive; Kaitlyn(unsure of spelling) was as personable as a door knob and just down right rude! When we arrived at the bar and waited to be greeted, she actually looked at my date and I like we had nine heads. I waited a few seconds for the awkward moment to pass but –NADA! So, I said HI and still NADA! When I asserted myself by asking for a little direction she responded by stating«take two glasses and grab a seat anywhere where you see the red solo cups» she also mentioned that«we’ve been announcing this all afternoon.» Kaitlyn’s rudeness, and lack luster personality almost put me in a bad mood. But the wine and especially the winearitas :) brought a smile to my face. Also the MC/host did a fantastic job with the story telling and jokes. The vineyard is a real romantic and cute environment, I would definitely like to schedule an event at one of the Treehouses. I look forward to visiting very soon in September, especially the grape stomping event :) I recommend Kaitlyn either get another job ASAP or become a paper pusher, so she doesn’t have to interact with human beings as often!

What an adorable winery, we came here with a group of nine of us this past Saturday for a bachelorette party. The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. It was so much fun! The lady who greeted us was a little rude and abrasive at first but after time she warmed up. They do a great wine tasting followed by a tour of there quant winery and for every two people in our group we were given a bottle of wine of our choice. The winery has two tree house that you can rent out if you have a group of four, which we walked through. What a great hidden gem. I will definitely be returning.

The vineyard itself is on beautiful land. I am a huge animal lover and expected to see the animals pictured on their web sight. I was disappointed that the animals were kept far away in a fenced area beyond the vineyard. If you enjoy sweet wines you will like the wine. With that being said, my husband and I weren’t a big fan of the wines. We bought a wine tasting packet and were disappointed. It was out back under a tent with a woman announcing the wines over a microphone. It was a HUGE group.(It was not what I was expecting!) The great thing I can say about vineyard is the tree house rentals. You will need to book the rental ahead of time and plan your visit around it. Bring a picnic lunch on a sunny day and you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent staff and the tasting was awesome. Kaitlin gave a great tasting and the stories behind the wine are a nice addition. Awesome place, merlot is fantastic(and I am not a Merlot fan)

Beautiful place to sit out and have a glass of wine. Love the tasting room but not really a fan of the muscadine wines. Other than that it was nice. A beautiful place to pop in and do a tasting. Check for a Groupon as it saves you a small fortune

This is a review of the Valentine’s party only as that is our first experience here. Maybe it’s my fault but I expected more and I could of lived with it even being average but it was below average. The setup was not nice to the eye at all. It didn’t feel like a Valentine party or romantic at all. That was the one thing that could have set or changed the mood for the night. The wine is ok, prices are not to bad. The glasses are nice too. The musician choice was good, RJ sounded great for what he had to work with. The people were ok but the table arrangement was a mess. To many group tables and not enough couple tables. It is Valentine’s Day after all. The food was the worst part. I have ate at the place that catered this and never had anything that bad. I don’t know if the food just set out to long before it was served or what. Wilting brown lettuce, very cold chicken and meatballs. We didn’t even eat we threw it all away. It started at 7 and we were there at 710. We did meet some nice people at the fire pit and that was ok. 7 – 11 party and we left at 930ish Sorry for this being so long I just felt like the lady I made the reservations with exaggerated a lot or something and she was the reason I chose this party as she made it sound out to be a night to remember.

I’ve heard about Treehouse Vineyards for years and not as a place for their superb wine, but mainly for the atmosphere. We ventured here on a nice day in the high 60’s, packed a picnic and enjoyed the grounds. We were alarmed at the location, giving it’s literally in the middle of a ghetto neighborhood, but nonetheless, we enjoyed our afternoon, sipping wine and letting our 2-year old daughter enjoy running around. The place is very family friendly and we will be back. My only piece of advice is — that if you’re not into muscadine wines(I’m not), then skip the tasting and just ask to taste dry wines. There are only 4 of them, but they aren’t all that bad. Again, I’m a fan, because more than anything, it’s something fun to do to get out of the house and out of Charlotte.

I had a fair experience. The design and layout of the vineyard itself is decent, but nothing fancy. They have a nice giftshop area where they sell many adorable wine-themed gifts. However, I did not particularly care for the customer service of some of the staff members. The environment just did not seem very welcoming. One of the ladies was obviously just tolerating customers and initially was borderline snappy when I asked her things. I got the vibe that I was begging them by stopping in. It was a rainy day when I went so it’s understandable that I did not receive an outdoor tour. The indoor tour that I did receive though felt rushed or maybe it was because there just wasn’t much to see. The tasting and tour were done by different staff members. The lady who conducted the tour was very friendly and nice, but I just didn’t think the wine was all that great. Overall the wine was«okay», but many of them did not have a distinct taste at all. It was like drinking the same wines again and again. Also I did not like that all the wine was served chilled. All wines are not meant to be served chilled… During the tour we saw that the wines are not aged in wooden barrels, but remained in the distillation containers(not sure what they are called) until ready to be bottled, which may be the contributing factor for the bland tastes. We did receive very nice souvenir glasses, but they did not include the free bottle of wine as included in the groupon. I decided that it wasn’t even worth mentioning… This vineyard does have two actual treehouse available to rent and that is probably the most unique thing about this place.

We had so much fun at this place! Just like most of the reviewers we bought a groupon as well and decided to give this place a try. We were kind of surprised to find this gem hiding in a busy neighborhood so when we arrived we were kind of thrown off with the location. But once you get there, the vineyard is a really large property. Regardless of the location, we sat down and enjoyed the tasting. You can have a tour of the vineyards but that is optional. We chose to skip on that and get right into the wine tasting. The wines we tried were mostly really sweet. They kept saying that they were the peoples favorites but some of them tasted like straight up grape juice. You also get to socialize with people sitting at your table. After the wine tasting you get to pick one of your favorite wine bottles to take home along with a treehouse vineyard stamped wine glass. It’s a nice gift. The setting is really romantic so I suggest this for a date. You can also have the chance to spend time in the real treehouse which looked pretty neat from down there but it is expensive since they charge per hour.

Treehouse Vineyard offers a selection of delicious muscadine wines. I tried a bottle of their«They Say Chardonnay.» Dry, fruity, crisp, and I could still taste the muscadine too. The 35 acre property has two tree houses. Papa’s Dream Treehouse and Date Night Treehouse. Papa’s Dream Treehouse has air conditioning, kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, a queen size bed in a loft, and a deck with a grill. I was in heaven! The property is home to a handsome Musk Duck I named Elvis(Musk Duck is short for Muscovy Duck), several turtles, 3 horses, 2 delightfully energetic black labs, and various species of wild life. The treehouse is secluded and nestled in a large oak tree overlooking the muscadine vineyards and a lovely pond. The grounds are meticulously maintained. I could go on and on about my first visit. I highly recommend this wonderful venue to anyone in search of relaxation WITHOUT television, and in need of peace and quiet. It’s just you and nature alone with your thoughts. I have already made my reservations for next year. I will be a regular at Treehouse Vineyards.

I came here with Kelly C. and a couple of other friends with a Groupon for a wine tasting for 8 wines. We had to sign up for the tasting and tour at the front desk, which are held every 30 – 45 minutes. The space the vineyards is on is wonderful. It’s beautiful land and we came on a perfect day. There are horses in the vineyards, corn hole, a tree house you can go up and look out over the vineyard, and the tasting is held on an open patio. I enjoyed hearing about how each of the wines are named, and the tour at the end how it is made, and how it has developed over time. But I’m sorry, I was just not a fan of the actual wine. And isn’t that the point? I’m more of a dry wine, and all of the wines were so sweet. They don’t make the dry wines at the vineyard just yet, they have those shipped in, so they weren’t really the focal point of the tasting. I can see going, and enjoying the wine on a Summer night sitting around the fire pit in a rocking chair listening to music. It could be a lot of fun. Just remember to eat beforehand and be prepared to drink sweets all night.

The location is gorgeous! The wine and tour could use some improvement. If you like sweet wine you’ll like this place. I went here for a tasting and they skipped most of the regular(cabernet, riesling, etc.) and focused on the sweet wines only, understandable since that’s all they produce — the rest is brought in. This would have been good to know, as I am not a fan of sweet wines. The tour was about 5 – 8 min standing in a garage where I was told that the first wine the owner ever made was with his wife’s panty-hose… gross. Definitely not something to advertise. Best tip about this place: There is an actual treehouse on site, however you don’t get to go into the treehouse unless you rent it out.

Went on a nice fall afternoon and had a great time. The treehouse is cute and whether you rented over night or the one for a small happy hour you are sure to have a unique experience. I’m not a huge fan if sweet wines so I didn’t enjoy most of the wines they served. However their wine slushy was very good. The tasting and tour were both planned well. The gift shop has tons of great little wine themed items. I will def be back during the summer when they have live music on Sat nights and the wine slushies will be a better fit.
